Five years later, Daichi and Sul visited the church with their daughter, an elf they named Sylph
Sure enough, humans were far from being the only race in the world, there were demons, fairies, elves e.t.c /read chapter 1/ and Sul and Sylph were elves . However most elves were enslaved, leading to their rarity.
The sisters then called all the children to a huge hall, there they brought an orb which was used to test the type of magic a person had and the mastery level of the person's magic.
The children were told to line up behind the orb as they tested their magic.
The first girl was told to put her hand on the orb and then gather spiritual energy around her palm, her body then converted the spiritual energy to mana as it poured inside the orb.
The orb then glowed as a writing showed on the body of the orb, the sister then looked at the writing and read it out loud
"level 5 ice magic, you can remove your hand now"
however...
"weh - weh"
the sister then looked at the girl and saw that her hand was frozen in place, she then smiled and chanted
[Flame Magic: Fire Flies]
The ice around her hand then melted, freeing the girl Inc again.
one by one, the children tested their magics until it was Sylph's turn.
Sylph then placed her hands on the orb and began to gather spiritual energy, in a few seconds, the writing on the orb appeared as the sister read it out loud
"level 18 wind type magic -"
the sister immediately turned to face Sylph as she said
"do it again"
Sylph then put her hand on the orb as she repeated the whole process
