At this moment, Will was flopping around on the ground like a fish out of water, screaming incomprehensible words of agony and torment, seemingly being burned by the fires of hell.
As all of this was happening, suddenly everything stopped, including Will's screaming and shaking, and he became dead still.
He was laying on his belly on the ground and the people in the room were too scared to get close to him.
Suddenly, the clothes on Will's back started to burn with a blood-red light, seemingly being on fire, but the fire itself didn't look real as it seemed to be made of living ruby, moving like fire but made of ruby instead.
These ruby flames then started to burn a giant hole in the shirt on Will's back, making way for his back to rip itself open as ruby blood started to drip from the holes, only to form into streams that gathered into chunks and gradually form the shape of wings on his back.
Everything these wings touched started to burn with the ruby fire, slowly turning into ash.
These wings of ruby seemed to exist from both heaven and hell, burning with a demonic but holy light that seemed to contain the laws of emotion, all bowing to hope. This hope seemed to contain every emotion in existence.
However, part of this power only lasted for a second as the power of all the emotions quickly vanished without a trace and only left the immense shining holy light of hope in its place.
Suddenly, these wings started to flap, and Will rose into the air, still unconscious, rising, up and up, into the sky.
He finally stopped after rising about 1 mile, then suddenly turned around and flew behind him for several million miles over the course of about a year, eventually settling down in the middle of a mountain.
All of this had happened while he was asleep, and the reason was simple. Those people had seen to much of his power awakening, and his heart decided that he needed to be taken away from them.
He hit the ground with a heavy *thud* as he fell from the sky. As his wings hit the ground, there was also the sound of glass clinking as the hard ruby clashed heavily with the solid stone.
Time passed quickly as several months passed by in a flash.
At this moment, Will started to open his eyes. The first thing he saw was stone. He could clearly see that he had been here a long time, but he had no idea how long it had been. It was impossible for him to tell because he had lived his entire life in an orphanage with no experience or ever actually seeing a stone before. This was his first time seeing a stone.
Only a couple seconds after he opened his eyes, a voice that seemed to exist from the beginning of time echoed through his mind.
