Chapter 91 - Meteorite

With a ding, the elevator stopped.

The elevator door opened. Outside was a group of soldiers with guns, all of black muzzles were aimed at them.

Luo Xun pointed the gun at Ye Jie and scolded: "Get out of the way!"

The soldiers were unwilling and reluctantly stepped to both sides.

Luo Xun pushed Ye Jie forward and saw a large empty space in front of her with countless fighter planes parked neatly.

Yin Nanzhao swept a glance. He picked a fighter plane and took the communicator on Ye Jie, then ordered the staff in the battleship main control room: "Open the fighter plane's take-off cabin door."

The cabin door ahead opened slowly.

Yin Nanzhao signaled Luo Xun to go up first. When Luo Xun dragged Ye Jie into the fighter plane, he then also rolled over and jumped up.

Space fighter plane generally could only sit for one person during normal operations. It was barely enough to accommodate two people. Three people were completely impossible

Yin Nanzhao said, "Let's let him go!"

Luo Xun immediately pushed Ye Jie out.

Ye Jie fell heavily to the ground. Probably because the anesthesia effect of Xunzhao vines had gradually dissipated, he sprung over like a fish and stood up.

A soldier rushed over to help him, but he pushed him away. He snatched the soldier's weapon and wanted to shoot Yin Nanzhao and Luo Xun.

The fighter plane was already gliding forward, yet the door was not fully closed. Luo Xun leaned and blocked for Yin Nanzhao who was driving the fighter plane.

She calmly looked at Ye Jie who was covered in blood half of his body. There was no sadness or fright in her eyes as if even if she was beaten to death by him at this moment, she had no regrets.

Ye Jie was mingled with anger and grief. Feeling extremely sad, his hands trembled, and the veins on the back of his hands bulged, yet he still didn't press the trigger.

The last moment when the cabin door was closed, he seemed to see the tears of regret in Luo Xun's eyes. However, he didn't know if it was because of the tears in his eyes that made him see it.

.

The fighter plane dashed out of the battleship cabin door and rushed into the boundless vast space.

Luo Xun looked at the battleship that was rapidly moving away in the vast starry sky. Her body softened and closed her eyes in exhaustion.

Because of weightlessness, a tear from the corner of her eye did not fall down her cheek, but slowly flew up and floated in front of Yin Nanzhao.

Sorrowful teardrops suspended in the air, like a sparkling clear crystal bead.

Yin Nanzhao took a breath, and a tear fell on his lips.

The tip of his tongue lightly licked the lips, taking Luo Xun's bitterness into his mouth. Then, as if nothing had happened, he said gently, "Xiao Xun, the dragon blood unit is chasing after.Sit tight."

Luo Xun hurriedly opened her eyes and asked worriedly, "Your body... can you do it?"

Flying a fighter plane had a particularly high strength requirement. The higher strength level, the stronger the equipped fighter plane, whether it was speed, level of sensitivity, or the difficulty of flying would be higher. This fighter plane was definitely not as good as Yin Nanzhao's fighter plane, but he didn't even have A-level strength now, so he was really not suitable for flying a fighter plane.

"No problem. The oxygen mask is on the top of your head, so wear it if you feel uncomfortable."

On the monitoring screen, two columns of fighter planes were chasing after them in a V-shape.

"Sit tight!"

Yin Nanzhao pulled high and charged forward. Luo Xun adjusted her breathing and fought against the discomfort of her body.

The fighter plane sometimes pulled up, sometimes dived down, and sometimes flipped.

Yin Nanzhao was in control of a fighter plane with average performance, completely relying on his excellent driving skills to avoid being locked by the opponent's fighter plane, but he had never been able to really get rid of the opponent.

Luo Xun felt dizzy and nauseous. She felt out of breath, but she insisted on not using oxygen. The supplies on the fighter plane were scarce, and every supplies were for life-saving use. If she didn't need to use, she won't use it.

Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she was so frightened that she even forgot about her chest tightness and nausea.

In the boundless vast space, a continuous extending sea of meteorites appeared ahead.

Because of the starlight, meteorites reflected countless twinkling shimmers to greet the eye, like a sea of light flowing slowly, revealing tranquility and beauty.

But in fact, that seemingly little light was likely to be a meteorite bigger than a mountain. And those meteorites that couldn't see the light were small in size but more terrifying, like cannonballs flying at high speed. They could accidentally hit if one was not careful, crashed the engine of the fighter plane, and made the fighter plane deviate from the course.

"Put on an oxygen mask!" Yin Nanzhao said pressingly.

Luo Xun didn't want to disturb his attention, so she immediately did what she was told to do.

Yin Nanzhao glanced at her to confirm that she had put on a mask and drove the fighter plane to the Meteorite Sea.

On the monitoring screen, the fighter planes chasing behind them slowed down. The distance between them quickly widened.

Even the dragon blood unit was flinching back, so it was obvious that their escape route was more like throwing away their life.

Luo Xun laughed and suddenly said, "Yin Nanzhao, I love you!"

Yin Nanzhao said plainly, "If you are afraid, close your eyes."

Luo Xun was dissatisfied, "Hey, you should have said something else."

"Wait until we fly out of the meteorites sea."

Luo Xun suddenly made up her mind and opened her eyes wide to watch the meteorites approaching rapidly.

If you were going to die, there would be plenty of time to close your eyes later and must not waste the last eye-opening time. If you were going to survive, how could you close your eyes in this once-in-a-lifetime near death experience adventure?

At the last moment before entering the sea of meteorites, Luo Xun quick as lightning put the oxygen mask on Yin Nanzhao's face.

With a whoosh, the fighter plane rushed into the sea of meteorites like lightning.

Piece after piece of huge meteorites as a large crowd whizzed towards them. Yin Nanzhao couldn't care about other things and could only concentrate on flying the fighter plane and tried to fly out of the meteorite sea as soon as possible.

The meteorites were densely packed and infinite, just dodged one, and immediately another came.

Yin Nanzhao flew the fighter plane sometimes ascending at high speed and swept through the gap between the two meteorites, sometimes dodged left and right, trying his best to avoid a group of meteorites.

Suddenly, a small meteorite that flew out unexpectedly hit the body. The fighter plane shifted its course, and was about to collide with a large meteorite flying at high speed. Yin Nanzhao spun rapidly, sweeping past the surface of the meteorite at a completely impossible angle...

Each time was more thrilling than the other. Each time it seemed that it was about to bump into death at once and exploded to pieces.

The energy grid was decreasing one by one, but the boundless meteorites were like a vast ocean as if that the shore could never be found.

A piercing alarm sounded. Red lights flickered all around to warn that the fighter plane was about to run out of energy.

Yin Nanzhao's expression was calm and his gestures were steady as if he was just driving a fighter plane for a fresh air.

When the last grid of energy turned into a thin red line, the fighter plane finally rushed out of the meteorite sea.

A blue planet appeared in front.

Yin Nanzhao suddenly began to cough violently. His mouth was full of blood, and he couldn't say a word.

The body was like a dismantled skeleton, completely unresponsive. He used all his strength to change the fighter plane into autopilot mode.

Yin Nanzhao unfastened his seat belt while coughing. He struggled to turn around and saw that Luo Xun had passed out.

His body was trembling. He took off the blood-stained oxygen mask with great effort and put it on her face.

"Luo Xun, I... love you."

In a low whisper, his body fell heavily and passed out.
