I can't believe he still thinks of me as a little sister after all this time. I've had the biggest crush on him ever since I was little, and he still treats me like a child. I walked off to class with Dixie not daring to look back at him. "They sure are meant for each other, they're both rude as frick" Dixie said angrily. "Not Damon '' I replied back. She scuffed at me. "That dude is a piece of crap, he deserves her and she deserves him, they're both sucky people. Why do you keep defending him?"

"Well maybe it's because I love and care for him" I said as I looked at her. "Oh whatever, you need to let go I swear" she said as she furiously opened the door. "Geez someone's angry this morning" Braden chuckled as he looked over at Dixie. "Can it Watson it's too early in the morning for your crap" Dixie said as she flipped him off. "Dixie let's not fight anyone today, we just got into class" I said as I sat my things down on my desk.

Dixie is a very expressive person, she loves to use her fists to talk inside of using her words. "Is someone on their period?" Braden laughed, and all the boys around him chimed in. Dixie looked at me with her eyes wide. "Beat his ass," I said, not holding her back any longer.

Dixie began rolling up her sleeves and walking over to Braden when the teacher walked in. "Dixie! What the in the holy frick have I told you about fighting in the classroom!?" he yelled from the front of the room. "I know I know, but he said "Is someone on their period?" and that's not right Mr. G" Dixie explained. "Oh then please continue" He said as he sat his things down on his desk "Really!?" Dixie asked, surprised. "No. Now sit down" he said.

Dixie walked back to her seat, and Braden exhaled in relief. Dixie just gave him a death stare. There is never a normal day with Dixie, she sure is a spit fire. But I'm indebted to her fiery attitude. Without her I would probably still be bullied for being quiet. I'm not rude, I'd like to say I'm really nice but I've always been shy ever since I was young which is probably why I liked Damon so much because he was shy like me.

"Alright class let's talk Science" Mr G said. We started a new project today, we're going to dissect a frog and this time we don't get to pick our partners. "Braden with Dixie, and Devon with Tristin" Mr G said. "Wait! Mr G I think you got our names mixed up " Dixie said. "No Dixie, these are your partners," he confirmed. "You can't do this to me Mr G, I can't be partners with Dixie" Braden pleaded.

"Braden don't pick fights with girls if you don't wanna get beat up, now stop complaining and get to work" Mr G sighed as he sat down at his desk and buried himself with work. I looked over to my left to see Dixie tormenting Braden. I let out a small laugh. "What are you laughing at?" I heard someone say. I looked up surprised to see Tristin Brown. "Oh, sorry I was just laughing at Dixie over there" I said as I pointed to my left. He chuckled and then handed me a pair of gloves.

"No need to be sorry, a pretty girl like you should never be sorry" He said as he picked up the tools. I blushed hard, and looked at him. He seemed unfazed, as he began dissecting the frog. I looked away nervously trying to regain my thoughts. No guy has ever said that to me, I felt happy and sad at the same time. It was nice to hear those words even if they caught me off guard, it's just that it didn't come out of Damon's mouth. Maybe I should take Dixie's advice and let go. There's plenty of fish in the sea, right?
