Its been 5 years now. Loki and I are still married our little girl is a handful. The boys are now 10. Koni is talking really well now. He even got training with uncle as well. Dad's buddies are still well. Lexi and Drake got married and have a little 1 year old now. He is a cutie pie. His name is Shinra. My sister and I are a couple houses down from each other. We still haven't adopted another girl yet but now I want too.
"Loki. I think its time. I want to adopt another girl. Maybe 2 years older than Zuri." "Sigh. Honey do you think we really need another child?" "Please. Just one more then I will stop asking for kids until we become grandparents. Then I will ask again. Hehe Joking." "I know you will its ok. Fine. Might as well adopt one that can't change as a pet as well right?" "Oh thank you honey. I love you." The kids are at school at the moment. I kissed him on the lips. "Hmm. I must do other things that make you happy if this is what I get." Then he kissed me back and we went into the bedroom.
Finally it was time for the kids to come home. We waited for the boys and Zuri to come home. Not long after Zuri ran in and almost knocked me down. "Mommy!" "Hey honey. How was school?" "It was ok." "Hey boys. How was school?" "It was same as always." Said Koni. "Haha. Koni learns to talk and nothing ever exciting happens to him poor boy." Said Loki Jokingly. "Hey dad." "OK Loki. Lets not Koni. Lets tell them the news." "Ok now. Kids. We are going to the Orphange to get a little girl 2 years older than Zuri here. She will have a big sister." "Yes! I get another little sister." Said Kane. "Haha oh boy. Well are we ready to go?" "Yes lets go. After we get home you 3 will do homework ok?" "We will keep her company." "Yes mommy." Said Zuri rolling her eyes. So we were off.
"Hey mom." "Hey Akela. Are you here to go to the orphanage again?" "Yeah I wanted to stop by first say hi." "Oh hey honey." "How are you holding up mom?" "I got Spririt Knight and a few others. I will be ok." Mom is not doing to well since Onyx died. He was sick. "Well mom I better be going. The kids still need to do their homework. You should really move in with your sister mom. Everyone already has their own family now. Even Spirit and Knight do." "I know honey. I just don't want to yet." "Don't wither away ok?" "Hmm. I promise." Then I left for the orphanage.
"Hello again. This is my little girl Zuri. The boys also came with me." "Oh I see. Good to see you doing well boys." "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Drummer." Said Koni. "Oh Koni your talking now." "Yeah thanks for taking me in. It was short but I still got a home." "Well your certainly welcome. So are you here for a little girl and one who can't change right?" "Yes I want 2 who can't change. Preferably girls." Said Loki. "Hey Loki. You know we can understand them. Don't be so sexist." "Ok ok all the ones who can't change then. Also a little a girl around 7 or 8." "Yes right this way then." Said Mr. Drummer.
"Ah here we are. The girls around the age you want." "There are only a few." I said. "Yes we get a bunch of them 5 to birth." "I see." So we had the kids go and talk to a couple then Loki and I found one we liked. She looked to be the protector of the girls. "Hello there little girl. What is your name?" I said. "Oh my name is Davina. Vina for short. I'm usually the one who breaks up the fights the girls make." "Haha I see. Well what would you say in protecting our daughter Zuri? Be her big sister? That's her over in the pink dress." "Oh she is a cutie. I will be sure to do my best sir." "Hehe. Oh if you come with us you will call us mom and dad if that is ok." I said. "Yeah sure. Let me talk to my assistant for a minute." She went over to another serious girl and told her the news. "I will do my best Vina." "OK then all settled." "Now we are going to also look into ones who can't change. Do you have anyone you would suggest for us?" "Yes I have a couple. Lets go to the Drummers." Said Vina. "Come one Kids. We are going back to the drummers." "Ok mommy." Said Zuri. The boys followed. Then we told them about the wolves who can't change then they showed us the room.
We got to the room. There was quite a bit of them. "Lets see. Oh there they are." Akita! Shaba!" "Oh hey Vina. Who are they?" "Oh they are interested in picking out a couple of non turning wolves." "Oh is that so?" said Shaba. "Oh pretty wolfy." Said Zuri. She climbed over Akita. "Zuri get down honey. You can only do that with family." "Sorry mommy." "Sorry about that. You must be Akita right?" I said. "Yes its ok. You must be the family interested in our kind huh?" said Akita. "Yes I have siblings that can't change as well. I wanted to adopt a kind like that as to not make them feel left out." "I see. Well what do you think?" said Shaba. "Well we are taking Davina in and she recommended you two. She said have been here the longest." Said Loki. "Yes we have. So you want to take us in then?" "Yes I do." Said Loki. "Ok then. Shall we go?" Said Akita. "Wait before you decide, we live in the human village. You will be going inside out outside type." "That's fine. You ok Shaba?" "Yeah I will go along with it." "Ok good. Lets go then." Then we headed home.
"Leo and Aqua. These are the new family members and the last I promised Loki. This is Davina. Vina for short. This is Akita and Shaba." "Well its nice to meet you 3." Said Leo and Aqua. "Can they understand us Akela?" "No they are both human but they were friends with my mom who can transform." "Oh ok." "Ok kids remember homework ok? Lets go home now. Oh and Leo where are the kids?" "Oh they are at a friends house. They are staying the night." "Ok cool." Then we went home and I showed them around. Davina was sharing a room with Zuri. They had an extra bed in there just in case. "You two I have a bed for you in the girls room. Here you are." They went to test it out. "Hmm. Comfy." Said Shaba. "Yeah I agree." said Vina. "Thank you Mom and dad." Said Akita. "Your welcome you two." I said. While the kids are doing their homework what do you 3 usually do in the orphanage?" "Well we usually have a big group so we did stuff with them. Do you guys sparr?" "Oh if you like sparring I could go." Said Loki. Also in the future if you want a partner our uncle Kira is a trainer." "Cool." Said Vina. "Ok then lets go outside and sparr." Then the two went out. "Ok Akita and Sheba what do you want to do?" I said. "Well since we can only do anything a pet really does I think we will just rest for now." "Ok let me know if you two need anything." "Thanks." The Next day I went to dads house. "Hello dad. Evi Nixie and little Tommy." My baby brother. This is the new addition to our family. Her name is Davina. Vina for short." "I see. You are serious aren't you?" said dad. "Yes I am sir. I was the one that usually stopped the fights for the girls." "I see good to have you. Call me grandpa." "You can call me Evi or Grandma whichever you like." "Thanks Evi." Said Davina. "Hey dad. I was thinking of maybe having a get together to welcome our new family." I said. "Oh good timing. How about next week. Aries and the gang are going to be here tomorrow. They will be staying for about a week." "Oh cool I haven't seen them in a long time." "Yeah well they had a lot of catching up with Rinko." "Hehe. So he decided to keep that name?" "Yeah he did. He seems to like it." "Ok cool. So Saturday next week?" "Yep sounds good around noon would be the best time." "Ok good. Loki has the weekends off too." They we chatted a bit more and left.
We got home and Loki was waiting for us. "Hello dad." Said the boys. "Oh hello boys and girls." "Hey daddy." Said Zuri. "Hi dad."said Davina. "Hi Davina. Hi Shaba and Akita." "Hi dad." They both said. "So how was visiting your dad?" said Loki. "Oh it was good. On Saturday next week we are having a get together to welcome the boys and the new girls into the family. Saturday at noon." "Oh that's the perfect time." Said Loki. "Hmm." "Are you ok honey?" I said worried. He looked like he was in pain. "Yeah I will be fine. I just got a little hurt on a job. Just a scratch and a few bruises." "Well be careful next time. How is uncle?" "Oh he got a couple of bruises as well. Nothing serious." "Oh good. What are we going to do with you boys?" I said to Loki. "Oh I don't know. Love us I guess. Haha." Joked Loki. "Ok kids go ahead and play I'll make dinner." I said. "Loki you rest. Your in pain." "OK whatever you say dear." So I started dinner.
About an hour later dinner was done. "Kids! Dinner! Loki!" Then kids came running and Loki walked normally to the table holding on to his side. "Honey after dinner and we get the kids to bed let me take a look ok?" "Yes that's fine. You won't take no for an answer anyway." So we ate our dinner got the kids to bed then went in our room.
"Lets see the wound Loki." He took off his shirt and showed me. "Honey you are still wrapped up. This is not just a scratch. You are still wrapped up. You have bruises everywhere. What happened?" "Oh uncle was captured I fought the guys until they let him go." "What did you get hurt with and who did it?" "I can't tell you who did it but they had swords and daggers." "Honey you and uncle need to practice more so you don't get hurt of have an extra person there." "There were we go I groups of 4 there were 2 other people." "What happened to them?" "They got the worst of it but they survived." "Oh that's good. Are you going to be able to sleep ok?" "Yeah I will be fine." Then I finally laid down next to Loki and I cuddled carefully into his chest. Then we sleep peacefully.
In the middle of the night Akela wasn't doing so well. "Hmm. Ha….Ha….." Loki noticed by how she was moving around cuddling with him. "Hey Akela. Are you ok?" "…." "Akela honey." No answer. He shook her a little bit to try to wake her but nothing. "Hmm. Haa….Haa…." He felt her head and it was burning up. "Oh no. I better go get a doctor." He ran over to wake Leo and Aqua. Aqua went to the house and stayed with Akela until Loki got back with some help.
A few minutes later the doc and Loki came rushing in the house. "How is she Aqua?" said Loki worriedly. "She is still pretty hot." Said Aqua. Then Loki felt her head again. "Dammit. Its hotter than it was. Doc please help." "I will see what I can do." "Thanks Aqua you can go back to bed if you want." "No its fine I want to stay and see if she can be helped. I will wait in the living room." "Ok sure." Then Loki held her hand while the doc was checking her out. "How is she doc?" "Hmm. She over worked herself. Using her powers and sparring with her uncle tired out her body." "Yes right after she trains with her powers she goes strait to training with uncle. Sometimes the other way around." "I see. If she continues this her body can break. If this happens again it will be worse. She needs someone to look after her so she doesn't over work herself again." "Yes sir. Will she be ok?" "Yes she should wake up in the morning. She might have a headache or seem like a cold so let her stay in bed for 1 more day then she will be fine. Have her take this medicine. It will help her symptoms not be so bad." "Thanks doctor." Then the doctor left and Loki told Aqua whats going on and she was relieved. Then went back to her house and went back to sleep. Loki stayed close to Akela that night and he went to sleep as well.
Finally it was the day of the get together. I healed up just fine. The kids are doing well at school and Loki is doing ok at work. We had an hour before it was time to leave. I was almost ready to go. Had to make sure I had the food ready I was bringing. "Ok kids! Are you about ready?" "Yeah mom!" said Davina. "I just have to help Zuri get ready!" "OK we got an hour before we leave so no rush." The boys were still getting ready to go.
Finally it was time to leave. "OK Boys! Girls! Its time to go!" I said. "Ok mommy!" said Zuri. Then everyone came running out. Zuri brought her dolly with her. Shaba and Akita came as well. Finally the 6 of us headed over.
We went to the park where there was a lot of room for the kids to play. A lot of people were already there. "Oh hey Aries." "Oh the guest of honors are here." Said Aries. "Everyone attention Please!" Everyone Quieted down. The guest of honors are finally here!" We all stood on a piece of wood for the stage and had a microphone. "Ok kids introduce yourselves." I said. "Hello. I'm Davina. Vina for short. I'm 7 years old. These two are Shaba and Akita. Akita is the blue grey one and the pure white one is Shaba." "Ok boys your turn." Said Loki. "I'm Koni. I'm 10 years old." "I'm Kane. Same age as Koni. I'm 10." "Ok now that that they introduced themselves we can greet them. Just don't crowd them at once please." Said Loki. The kids all got to know everyone finally and our family at least are living happily ever after. Oh 1 more thing I forgot to mention if I didn't before. Uncle Kira finally got married 2 years ago. She was an old friend from school. They have a little one as well. A little girl named Gesine. She is 1 1/2 years old.
