Franklin rushed to the bathroom and the moment he was inside he slammed to the ground. He was acting tough in Infront of Ivory because he didn't want to seem like he believed in anything she was saying or was shocked. To him it's all a lie, Ivory isn't the one telling that lie, but his sister and her best friend "Jones".
At least that's what he wants to believe, without a doubt loved Paula and he won't just start hating her without concrete evidence and even if she still confesses it with her mouth... he will still not want to believe.
"I'm sick and tired of this rollercoaster of a life I'm living. One moment I'm happy the next I'm sad, tired, stressed, angry, grieving. I don't even get the opportunity to enjoy an emotion at a time. it's so sickening waking up to a different situation. I didn't ask for any of this. Ahhhhhhhhhh, please don't be true or just a misunderstanding. cause I can't bear to lose you again...Even though I never had you, the way I wanted to, in the first place"...
He got into the shower. Hoping the cold water would ease his tensed muscles but that was a lost cause. He got out and dried himself with the towel, brush his teeth and went back inside to check if Ivory was still in his room.
Unfortunately, she was and her eyes were swollen. He had wanted to relax his mind alone for a while but he sure can't send her out and she needs him more now than ever.
He threw on some denim jeans and a polo shirt. He had no intention of looking good, but he looked dead drop gorgeous...
"Franklin, we're just going downstairs for breakfast. We're not going out, you look like a prince character in a movie..." ivory said in a choked and pained tone.
"Ermm, I guess I'll take that as a compliment. But we know between me and you, you're the surreal movie character here"..... Franklin replied in a cool tone, they walked downstairs in silence. Both of them weren't feeling too chatty at the moment but they seemed to understand each other's silence and much communication was going on...
"Finally, you guys decided to grace us with your presence... I'm extremely famished. Anyone would be if they had to wait for such a long time just to have breakfast with you guys". Micha spoke in an irritated manner.
" Okay, okay cry baby. let's eat"...
"When did you decide to tell me about it" Franklin directed the statement to Micha, who also seemed unfazed by the looks he was giving her.
"Hey, don't come at me. I'm not the one who blindly believed in a poor, fake ass girl...."
Franklin quickly cut her off with the statement "oh, the ever righteous Micha. Sincerely I don't get you, Why are you so bent on making Paula seem bad. I think it's a little below the belt even for you, to say all these things about someone we haven't seen in a long time. Why on earth would she be after our families, no why would her family be after us".
" Ohh Franklin just when I'd thought you grew up, finally understood that the world isn't a good place. You're too emotional, good graces get your head out of the clouds". Micha blurted out in anger and a hint of frustration.
She felt her brother was completely fooled by his emotions towards that girl, so much so that he's choosing to ignore what's there. And to him, that's just ridiculous.
