"Hey… I am doing great!" She texted back, still apprehensive about confronting Rico. "I miss you!" She added.
"I miss you even more!" He immediately answered. "Is this a good time to call?" He asked.
Anna stared at his message for a moment, as she tried to figure out if it would be a good idea for her to answer his call. It would be best not to hear his voice at this time. Who knows what she might do, if she heard a girl in the background? That would be a very messy conversation, indeed.
"No, sorry. My time is almost up, unfortunately." She added a sad emoji at the end of her text so he wouldn't suspect her of anything. "Maybe next time." She added.
"Oh! Geez, I should've taken that call when I did!" He replied with a sad emoji.
"Nah, it's okay… I know you're busy." She texted back.
