It has been three days since she last talked to Isagani. Anna felt guilty about what she did and couldn't forget his reaction. His tears welling from his eyes and his look of disappointment stuck in her mind, leeching her emotions with unwanted feelings she rather not have at the moment. She already had too much in her plate and Isagani's disappointment was just another weight she needed to deal with.
