There was no sign of any commotion from the outside. Anna peeked at the window and saw nothing but the calm, azure waves. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw an attendant frantically running holding his bloody arm.
Curious, Anna tried to open the last blind of the third window on the right that was covering that part of her view, but before she could open it, Ms. Dagondon called her out.
"I think it's best if we just stay here and wait." Ms. Dagondon said while placing a warm cup of tea on the table for Anna to drink. "Maybe, away from the windows to avoid triggering something?" She smiled.
"I apologize… hehe… nurse's curiosity." Anna slowly went back to her chair and took the tea from the table. "You're right Ms. Dagondon… I was… just—" She fumbled for the right words to say.
"That's okay… let's just say it's just an occupational reflex." She sat on the opposite table and sipped her cup of tea.
