Anna woke up the following morning, anxious and terribly apprehensive on how to ask Isagani about a cure. She was walking back and forth in front of her bed, practicing her approaches and monologues to his possible responses.
"Umm… Isagani, I know this might be too much to ask, but since you've worked with aswangs for quite sometime now… maybe you know… about a cure for it?" She smiled awkwardly.
"Hmm… This is very disappointing." She mimicked his cool, suave voice. "I do know one, but if you drink it and become a normal human, I will have to eat you." She said grimly.
She paused and scratched her head. "Would he even say that?" She sat down on the floor.
Anna thought of it for a second. Should she even push through with her query? There was a big chance he would get mad at her, but maybe not to the extent that she was thinking. She stood up and decided to take a bath, hoping it would clear her mind and give her a better approach at the situation.
