Every single one stays silent at the information I just told them. They have no idea what a restricted zone is. Dropping it out of the blue like that can be a bit confusing. The youngest, Irene, is the first one to decide to break the silence. "What are restricted zones? I've never heard that term associated with Libertas." Many players won't encounter their first restricted zone until later this week. It's an area with very strong and high-leveled monsters. If you're not strong enough to enter the zone. The system will prevent you from entering.

The system will take into account your level, gear, and skills. It won't let you in if the system doesn't think you can handle the weakest opponents in the restricted zone. Never mind taking on the strong monsters. "In simple terms, it's a place where extremely high-level monsters roam. You won't find them close to any major cities, but small towns like Nettleton can have them nearby." Many loremasters and historians theorize that before Grant died, he destroyed a restricted zone that all the monsters were coming from during the attack. I think it's extremely impressive.

Taking on restricted zones, this low level is a no-go. We're going to avoid them like the plague. Nettleton will have strong monsters in it, not to mention the dungeon nearby that I plan to hit once I reach level 5. "How do you know all this? The game has only been out for half a day. That seems like information only NPC's and dangerous players would know." I can hear the suspicion in Jake's voice. He's right to be concerned about me. I know things about Libertas that no one is going to discover for years. We've still got several hours to travel, and we'll likely need to camp.

I don't like the thought of having to camp with strangers. The only good thing is none of us will have a tent. That means I can keep an eye on them. There isn't much they can do, but I want to be on the same side. I can still be killed by them, be it in combat or when I'm vulnerable. "I respect your suspicion of me. I'd have the same for you if our places were switched. There are multiple ways to come across information. I learned this little tidbit from an NPC back where I spawned." That's a total and blatant lie, but it's not like I can be called on it.

Jake's only response is a low grumble. We continue walking, and they fill their time with conversations only people who are social would like. Many hours have passed, and night has fallen. I'd say we're only a couple of hours away from Nettleton at this point. As badly as I want to continue, I'm not too fond of traveling these woods at night. The night is when monster activity rises in remote locations away from society. While it's rare to run into a group traveling at night, it's not something I want to risk. I'm not strong enough to take on a group of monsters.

We all stop on the side of the path and sit down. We're under a break in the tree line, so the stars are easily visible. The skybox is breathtaking, to say the least. "It's more vibrant and visible than the milky way..." The second girl, Melisa, decides to start a conversation with everyone as she looks up into the sky. While the milky way is visible on clear nights away from cities, it's rare to see it in all its glory. This above me puts it all to shame. "I'm glad that we ran into... You still haven't told us your name yet..." I'm lying on my back as I look up at the sky.

The group following me is doing the same thing, they're more joined together, and I'm separated from them. "My name is Scott..." I'm not giving them my first name yet. The last name will do just fine. "No need to thank me, we're not even doing anything hard yet... Wait until we reach Nettleton. The monsters there are going to be powerful enough to knock all of us around if we're not careful." Nettleton isn't till tomorrow, so I should stop talking about it. They're good people. They just like talking a lot.
