Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Salma was not very excited about the new school; it was clear to her that the whole world hated her for being the daughter of the tyrant president. She dragged herself wishing her parents would just let her school home but that was not going to happen. She checked herself once again in the mirror just to confirm if her appearance had changed. She had dyed her golden hair black to change her identity in the new school. She did not want anyone to recognize her as the president's daughter, she had also tried new make-up that made her look like a naughty little girl.

"are you going to school like that?" her father asked her when she was walking past the living room heading out.

"Yes," she responded to him with a bored look on her face.

"Listen, darling, you did nothing wrong the girl died just because of a heart attack," he said walking to where she was.

"That's not what I am getting, is it true you may be involved because she was arguing with me?" she said looking at her father.

"no, the world is wrong but believe me okay?" he said to her as he smiled at her.

"Okay daddy, ''she said, smiling back at him. She was transferring school because of the drama that had happened where a young girl she was seen arguing with died the next day, she did not know what exactly happened but all she remembers was that girl always bullying her for being the president's daughter.

She had always avoided her until one day when she was in the locker room and the lady came harassing her. From then all she can remember was the video spreading of them arguing but she knows she went home after and was surprised to hear the next day that the girl was dead.

She couldn't go back to that school and now she was being moved to Water's High School to finish her last year of high school, she hoped to just stop studying because she was already old enough, it was her parents who had taken her to school late because they were doing some investigations on her as a child which she did not know of. She was old enough to be working and earning her own money, but she was lucky she looked so young than her actual age.

"Looking good baby, your car is waiting for you" her mother Patricia said to her when she walked in. She kissed them goodbye and left for school.

The first day was not bad for her because no one even noticed who she was, the school was like a part of the country that was not keeping up with what was going on, or they were never interested in knowing what was going on. It was also on the other side of their town so the students there were not even from her town, how relieved she felt.

The next day she was a bit excited because it was like they did not know who she was. The morning class was however boring and got distracted and began looking around the class to find something exciting.

Some students were on their phones and some were chatting while the teacher taught. It was like they were not afraid of the teacher. This school felt cool to her, she turned back to try and listen to the teacher but was hit by a wrap of a paper, she ignored the first but then it continued and she had to turn back it was a group of some ladies and amidst them was a lady with a light blue hair that had a grin on her face.

"Not this again" she whispered to herself.

A boy turned back and looked at the girls with a warning look and they stopped but the girl with the blue hair rolled her eyes and turned to bully another student. She turned to look at the boy and he was smiling at her. She went back to listen to the boring teacher but did not smile back at the boy who had just saved her.

The lessons were over and she waited at her locker while she packed some stuff she was looking for Pinky who had not been replying to her texts. That was the one friend she had and also studied at that school.

"you seem lost who are you looking for babe?" Hareem jumped at her and she was not excited to see him.

"Your sister, have you seen her?" she asked him because she knew what a control freak he was, he couldn't stay out of people's business.

"with his boyfriend, shouldn't you also be having one," he said, teasing her but she felt even more annoyed at him.

"Listen here Hareem, my parents might think you are the right man for me, but just so you know I don't like you, I don't know how many times I am supposed to tell you this," she said frustrated but he was smiling sheepishly at her like she was joking.

"Just look at your cute face lying to me again," he said, teasing her and Salma felt like just screaming at his face that she did not like any bit of him. She looked around looking for a way to escape this torture and she made up just the perfect plan.

"I don't like you, I like someone else '' she said bravely, what better way to break someone's feelings than by telling them you liked someone who is not them.

"You can't fool me goldy, you are mine. See you later" he said walking away and she was just glad he had left her alone.

"looks like you tend to attract bullies? is that even a student here?" The boy who had saved her earlier in the class approached her.

"no, he is probably here for business," she said, smiling back at him.

"So he is your boyfriend or ex?" he asked her with a cute smile on his face.

"eew no! I don't do that. I have zero interest in relationships" she said to him.

"yeah tell me about it," he said to her showing he also had zero interest in relationships.

"You are cool. I like you," Salma said to him, smiling.

"But you do need someone to show you around, "he said to her, still having his cute smile.

"Pinky does that, she is my friend," she said to him even though she knew what he meant she wanted him to be clear.

"I mean a man, you know what I mean," he said, touching her left hand.

"if it's all non-exclusive" she answered back at him.

"Well I don't mind," he said excitedly.

"Then that sounds like what I may need," she said, smiling back at him, and gave him a card that had her number.

"Everything is moving on swiftly, we may begin the plan," he said to a group of teenagers that came where he was and they all had a grin on their faces, while the boy stared at the card he had that had Salma's number
