Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2: To Be a True Alpha

UNKNOWN P.O.V.

The shadowy figured watched as the impossibly large man interacted with the tiny waitress. He growled in frustration as his adversary laughed loudly at something the pretty girl said. Was he trying to seduce her?

He watched as she scurried away and returned quickly to him with a slip of paper. His check. The man laughed again and stood up. Shock and rage shot through him like a tempest. Of all the people who could have been sent after him they had to pick the most hollier-than-thou, head up his own ass, piece of shit that they could find. Alpha Kedian Blood.

This complicated things. The neutralizer he had used would soon wear off and he couldn't leave while Blood was here without being seen by him. A wave of panic washed over him as the door to the bar was thrown open. Had he been noticed? But then Blood was walking out the door.

He smiled as his prey was left defenseless in the bar alone. Time to charm her into his car.

As she approached him with a pad and pen her smile faltered a bit. Even humans noticed scents on an unconscious level. A primal need to know if others were friend or foe so deeply ingrained that another's lack of scent was disconcerting. The fact that she recoiled slightly meant that she had decided not to trust him.

Despite her unease she approached cautiously and stopped a safe distance from him. "Can I get you anything else sir?" She asked with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. There was nothing for it. He would not be taking her or any other girl at this location tonight. He glanced at his watch. 8 pm it read. he could smell the lingering smell of her arousal and wanted to break her with his large cock.

He smiled and pulled out three hundred dollar bills. Perhaps money was the key to her down fall. "No. My date stood me up." He sighed sadly and passed her the money. "Thanks for putting up with me." He stood up when she took the money from him and turned towards the door. he slumped his shoulders and attempted to look dejected. Once the door swung closed he made his way to the opposite end of the parking lot where two of his pack sat waiting for his signal in the black van. As he climbed in they looked at him confused.

"Blood." He snarled by way of answer. Both men growled angirly. That was the difference between Him and your typical Alpha. He did not need to link his men to have their support. They understood and followed orders at a mere word from him. After all if he had to repeat the order, you were now an example. That is what it took to be a true alpha. Unlike the lofty Alpha Blood who was only playing at it like a game.
