Patricia and Letha came to a stop at the makeshift bamboo cage. Letha waved at Lied excitedly while Patricia stopped to catch her breath. After a few breaths, she pointed at Lied while the other hand was holding onto one of the bamboos. She took a bit more time to breathe before saying, "You're an idiot, you know that?"
"I'm sorry," Lied apologised almost immediately.
"Nah, that didn't sound genuine at all," Patricia grumbled. "Especially after how you ran off without telling either me or Letha. What would have happened if you died?"
"Well, I'm not dead," Lied stated, gesturing to himself.
"There's a huge bump on your head!" Letha exclaimed, giggling to herself.
Patricia glared at Lied.
He put his hands up in apology, "Look, I know what I did was dumb, but there was a good reason."
