Lied woke up to the sound of rustling leaves. He opened his eyes and watched as Letha slowly pushed leaves around the ground. She saw Lied and showed him a leaf that was brown in colour. She told him, "This leaf is pretty."
"Uh... yeah..." Lied muttered, still only half-awake.
He pushed himself to sit up and stared at his hand which was translucent. He glanced around to try and find sunlight. Patricia was already awake and was just lying on the ground and staring at the sky. Lied got up and stepped into the sunlight, basking his arm in it as Patricia flipped over to stare.
"What?" He asked.
"Thanks for getting us out," Patricia said softly.
Lied leaned closer while still keeping his arm in the sunlight. "I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"Forget it," Patricia sighed, turning away.
