Evolution.
The world is built upon mutations and mutations. Millions of years ago, a creature spontaneously appeared out of thin air. This creature had a long slender body and four limbs that protruded out the side of it. It was covered in fur and roamed the forest it appeared in. It was a strange creature that had two eyes, a nose and a mouth.
It prowled on all fours, using its four fingers to feel the ground and pick things up. Its eyes provided limited vision, but in return, it had sensitive palms on all four limbs to feel. It was the only creature of its kind, a creature with intellect. It slowly learnt. It would watch how some creatures climbed trees and mimicked them. It learnt the pattern of prey it hunted and had no difficulty finding food. There were not many creatures in the forest, and this creature was the first one with intellect.
Beyond that, it was given an ability unlike others.
