Lied sat up, breathing hard. He looked around in a hurry. Letha was there just sitting there staring at him. She tilted her head slightly before asking, "Did you have a bad dream?"
He knocked his head a few times before telling her, "No, not really."
"Really? Okay," Letha smiled, copying Lied and knocking her head as well. "Bad dreams are bad."
Patricia woke up as well, yawning. She deactivated the fire Rune and put on the Ice Rune around her neck. When dawn passed, she activated the Rune and got up. Patricia massaged her neck before complaining, "And I thought a night of rest couldn't get any worse..."
She simply sighed and looked around. Everything was covered in the soft sunrise. Strips of sunlight could be seen as the trees cast long shadows across the ground. Perhaps the sight would have been more scenic had the trees not been covered completely with large black insects. The insects created a shilling noise which more of the other insects joined in.
