"Are you a friend?" Letha asked the bug with a wide smile on her face.
In response, the bug squirmed as much as it could in hopes that Letha let go of it. Meanwhile, Lied was observing their surroundings. It was odd that the bugs did not attack them previously, but the moment Letha got far away, they immediately attacked. When they got reunited with Letha, the insects also stopped attacking as well. It was almost like the insects were avoiding Letha.
The insect in Letha's hands was dripping yellow fluid.
After a few more seconds, it stopped moving completely and became slack. Letha frowned as she stared at the bug, saying, "It dead...?"
"Good!" Patricia exclaimed.
Letha gently placed the bug down on the ground before pouting in Patricia's direction. She put her hands on her hips and said to Patricia, "I don't like how you treat Fred."
"What?" Patricia asked, confused.
Letha stomped off.
