It had been a month since Lily returned from her adventure to Babil. She had spent most of her time alone or listening to her parents try to console her. They had scolded her at first since Lily left without prior notice.
She would listen to them tell stories about losing friends as they grew up.
But somehow, Lily was unable to relate to any of them. To her, she was the reason these people died. In her notebook, she sketched out pictures of Akuji and Verxy. She doubted it was accurate but feared that she might forget their faces.
Her parents eventually brought up the possibility of sending her to school.
Lily had mentioned some of her exploits to her parents before through writing. After finding out about it, they had gotten slightly excited and considered the possibility that Lily could be a mage. When asked if she wanted to enrol on the big academy in the Capital, Lily refused to give a straight answer.
