In the forest...
It was a sight to behold.
Surrounded by thick logs and leaves, in the middle of a forest so vast it seemed impossible to leave, were walls about a few metres high. Wooden walls were built. Inside, there were houses, streets, watchtowers, everything an ordinary village would have. Within those walls, there were bipedal creatures with lanky arms and legs. Their skin was tinged green. They wore shoes made of skins of common creatures found. Mostly leather.
The clothes they wore were made of either skin or plants. Yet, despite the innate primitivity of the material, there was a sort of elegance in the clothes. The most common was a certain long-lasting cloth sewn from a specific plant. It was durable enough to protect them from most monsters and would take a long time to wear out. Each of the creatures had four jointed fingers that were not particularly extra long, but it had a full range of motion.
