Yuumeislyk noticed an anomaly the moment it struck the device with lightning. Mana in the room was sucked into the device and stored there, leaving no mana in the air. It was an unfamiliar situation for Yuumeislyk. Ever since it was created, it had been surrounded by mana. Though it was no longer able to use magic, it was still a formidable foe.
It was struck by a spear.
The wound was slow to heal. It was healing, just not as quickly as it would prefer.
Ruby pointed at the Nine-tailed Fox, the red Magic Circle forming at her fingertips. The monster scowled and sped along the ceiling. It dropped down directly onto her. Ruby was slow to react and was knocked to the ground by the fox. An explosion went off to the side. She tried to wrestle the monster, but it was far stronger.
When she tried pointing at it, the fox bit her arm, digging its teeth into her.
