"Who even is this girl you're finding?" Kakry asked.
They were on the top floor of the Maigikn Headquarters where Eunos could overlook the Capital's landscape. Despite having heard that question, Eunos refused to answer the question. Kakry sighed and told Eunos, "You definitely know this, but I made a deal with the new lord of Kruffswegen. Or rather, the just deceased Lord of Kruffswegen."
When Eunos made no attempt to respond, Kakry continued, "All I had to do was kill his so-called sister in a way that would not lead back to him. But it appears that I failed to kill his sister, so some of my compensation was withheld."
"Partnering up with Kruffswegen, what have you become?" Eunos commented.
"It was going to help with my research," Kakry explained.
"Should you have been caught performing such pitiable acts, the others may have a word to say about it," Eunos said, not even paying full attention to Kakry.
