The raw usage of mana. It was a technique no human bothered to practice effectively as none had taken it seriously. A human's body part, for example, the knee, could only contain so much mana. When the knee is no longer able to contain mana and the rest of the body is incapable of containing mana, excess mana gets sent to the Maticulo.
To perform spells, mana permeates through the skin and into the surrounding in a different form. With the flexible nature of mana, spells were created.
