~Babil, 6115 a.d. Day 171~
On the nineteenth floor of Babil.
Lily held the purple gemstone in her hand as she sat down, her legs feeling much too sore for her to continue walking. She had lost all sense of time ever since she started walking again. Lily thought that if she continued walking, she might meet with Letha again. However, she had no luck up to that point.
She had encountered many small monsters along the way. Small creatures that targeted her as a source of food. Luckily for her, Lily was being protected by that invisible protector. She may have been calmed by the idea of being safe, but a lingering fear existed.
What if that protector no longer protected her?
Would she die?
Lily rummaged through her bags. She had yet to eat in a day. She was feeling fatigued and occasionally nauseous. She slowed down and eventually stared into her bag without moving a muscle.
'What are you doing here?'
'You shouldn't be here.'
