There was a massive explosion directly at the queen's face. It was so impactful that the cave and even the air were shaken. The queen let out another screech, lightning sparking around it. Latifa rolled to the side, throwing Ruby aside as her dagger was falling to the ground. The lightning bolt was sent in the direction Ruby had just been but changed trajectory to hit the falling dagger instead.
Latifa's dagger was sent flying into the distance.
"It hasn't died!" Latifa shouted at Ruby.
Half the queen's face was blown off, and one of its wings had been torn apart. It fell to the ground some distance away, sending a gust of wind so strong it sent both the ladies flying away. Latifa and Ruby both knocked into the stalagmites nearby.
Ruby was charging another shot.
