It was the year 2210.
Yuumeislyk walked around the Capital. Humanity had evolved quite a bit since the last time Yuumeislyk had visited.
Infrastructure and equipment were of better quality. Most Outer Cities had been reclaimed to the very edge of Ether's borders. Yuumeislyk also noticed a bunch of shops selling something humans called 'Magic Stones'. It was something new, so she checked it out. Turns out, it directed the Mana from the surrounding air into the stone itself to be used.
Yuumeislyk noticed something about the stones. The property which allowed it to absorb Mana from the surrounding air came from non-human creatures. The stones were likely the core of other beasts which were killed by humans.
She left the Magic Stones to themselves and continued to seek out Letha.
