Minister Mei was still on the ground, recovering from the effect of the lightning strike. She groaned as she got onto her feet, the other two masked men waking up. They did not have their masks on when they slept, revealing their faces. They had faces that had burn patches and scars everywhere. They no longer had hair, and instead had black spots across their scalp. They quickly put their masks on as the one Minister Mei had been chasing busted in through the door.
He pointed at her. "That's not Minister Mei!"
"What's going on?" One of them demanded.
They all turned to face Minister Mei, who was on high alert.
"I don't know what that is," The masked man that wielded lightning explained. "But whatever it is, it is not Minister Mei we know."
She stood straight up with her usual poise, telling the two who had just woken up, "Ignore him. He has lost his mind."
