The Nine-tailed Fox, the one and only of its kind.
As it stood on the ledge of a mountain, it looked out and watched as a monster ripped into another monster's flesh, eating it.
As a small creature still in its infant stage, its ears twitched as it watched from a safe distance. It had just been born, and it was witnessing the natural order in the world. The one who survives is the one who is stronger.
Though one thing did concern it though. It had just seen a monster fall from a high place and die, but when the Nine-tailed Fox tried it itself, it simply landed gently.
Unlike the airborne monster, it had no wings, it was definitely standing on the ground.
The Nine-tailed Fox lifted a paw. It was a small paw without any claws. White fur.
It managed to see under its paw. Since it landed on its legs, surely there has to be something preventing it from dying.
