Lily sat up on the bed, not exactly sure what she was supposed to do next. It was her first time at an inn, and everything had been so surreal. She had seen people rioting for the first time, been to a different city for the first time, entered an inn for the first time.
"You're gonna have to take a shower," Akuji told her, leaning back in his chair. "I think I can ask the inn owner to help you out. If anything goes wrong, try to shout."
Lily simply nodded. Akuji walked to the door before he paused, sighing. He turned and faced Lily, telling her, "You'll get a bath first, I'll wait outside, then I'll take a bath, you wait outside. You can't get too far away from me, do you understand?"
Lily was not sure why Akuji was so insistent in having her nearby at all times, but under her circumstances, it was best if she adhered. Akuji carried her on his back once again before walking over to the counter where the lady stood.
