Lily left her home to get to school.
The city was more lively than usual. She noticed it that morning when her family started talking about some strange story. Lily herself was not someone to care much about what happened outside her comfort levels, so she did not try to dig up more information.
However, even after leaving her home, she kept hearing bits and pieces of people speaking to one another. Someplace called Babil, whatever that was. Lily did not know what this place or thing or even person everyone was talking about. But from what she could hear, someone had recently announced that they were going to conquer Babil.
She could guess that Babil was likely a place, after all, it would be weird if it was a thing or person.
Lily did not really care much about this person, but she started getting curious. What was this Babil thing everyone kept talking about? Even in school, no one seemed to be able to stop talking about it.
