Lied checked behind him to make sure there was no one else the lady could possibly be looking at. From her attire, Lied could guess that she was either a Mage or a Witch.
She had short white hair and crystal blue eyes, a look not often seen in Ether.
He thought about which one he would rather encounter, but could not come up with a solid answer.
She stopped in front of him, hands on her hips, looking slightly unhappy. Lied took a deep breath before deciding to confront the lady.
"Uh… do you need anything?" Lied asked her.
She pointed at the Ice Rune in his hand. "That's the last one, yes? Could you let me buy it instead?"
"Sure thing, no problem," Lied told her, passing her the Rune.
He got out of the line and gave her a friendly smile. "Well, hope you have a nice day ahead, I'll see you never."
Lied walked out of the shop. Before he could leave, the lady grabbed his shoulder, stopping him. He turned around, wondering what else she wanted.
