Lied waited outside the gate of the school. He tapped his foot impatiently as he waited for the school day to end.
Desmond had requested Lied to pick up his son, Kalego, every day. Not wanting to freeload too much, Lied obviously agreed. He had just visited the public library just a few minutes ago, and he rushed to pick up Kalego.
He waited alongside the many parents who had carriages and the like. Lied crossed his arms as the sun started setting.
The bells of the school ran, signalling the end of the class.
Lied waited as a swarm of kids rushed out to greet their parents. Lied looked around and saw Kalego walking all the way at the back, avoiding the crowd.
Lied waved at him, he waved back.
When Kalego was with Lied, Lied held his hand and started leading him back home. Kalego was rather slow, pulling against Lied's hand.
