Kale stopped anyone from moving forward as the humming got louder. Eventually, it stopped.
It sounded like a noise a human would make, but it was impossible. The humming sounded carefree and oblivious, as if the person was in a park. It was entirely possible for that noise to be coming from a monster.
It could be a trap.
Kale put a finger to her lips as she crept around the corner.
Kale heard the noise of dragging, as well as the scraping of armour against the stone ground.
Kale looked towards the noise, her night vision allowing her to see what was going on. She looked in the direction, the dragging noise stopped.
Kale watched as a the person she was looking at turned her head towards her.
Kale darted back around the corner, her heart beating fast.
"What did you see?" One of the Adventurers whispered.
Kale took a deep breath. She was probably too far away from the girl, maybe that was why her Detection Magic did not activate.
