Yogw pointed his blade in the general direction of the monster. He could not see it as it was hidden in the leaves, but the way the leaves moved, the rustling of the leaves, all of it indicated where the monster was. Not just that, with how still the air was, Yogw could spot and movement from the leaves.
He glanced back once before looking back, shifting his sword left as the monster moved through the trees.
"Listen to me. Keep calm and get on your feet," Yogw told the woman. "We'll get out of this alive, so get on your feet."
The lady got on her feet shakily, her eyes wide with fear and regret. Yogw pushed her towards the direction of the group, pointing in that direction with his free hand.
He kept his sword pointed at where he thought the monster was.
They started running for it, the girl running as fast as she could while Yogw trailed slightly behind, hearing the rustle of leaves and the creaking of branches behind him.
