In one of the Outer Cities, a man was having a speech. He claimed to have wanted to assemble a team to conquer The Tower That Reaches God, Babil.
The news got around quick, people from the Outer City spread the news to everyone they knew. Eventually, after a few days, the news reached the ears of those in the Capital.
The man had gained quite a bit of popularity for his bold claim. In no time, people had started gather around him, all of them excited to make a name for themselves by being involved in the conquering of Babil.
Alas, the world was not that kind.
It was well known amongst humans of how truly weak they were. Beyond their borders laid the Great Forest, a Forest which humans have yet to fully understand.
There had been six expeditions.
The first five had disappeared without a single trace after entering the forest. It was safe to assume that everyone involved were dead. The sixth expedition had gone slightly differently.
