Lied walked by Desmond's side. Desmond held his son's hand with one hand, his other hand carrying a bag. Lied simply walked forward, passing by the calm bustling of the Capital.
People went about doing their thing. Some opened shop, beginning their business early that day. Others went about to their work place, some just roaming around without much reason to do so.
Lied could even spot a few people dressed raggedly, hidden in the shadows while keeping an eye on those who passed them.
The Capital was safe from monsters. It was obvious since the Capital was in the middle of Ether, far away from the Great Forest that surrounded them.
However, the Capital was plagued by a different problem altogether. There were a few who were less fortunate, and hid in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to rob someone.
Lied was rather familiar with that lifestyle.
"I was thinking… what's your son named?" Lied asked Desmond.
