FLASHBACK CONTINUED
The Fu mansion was brightly lit. The atmosphere inside was delightful. Everyone was happy and the smile on Lu Mei's face never left. The smile was so contiguous that even Jiang Meili was smiling and feeling happy.
However, as the time of Fu Zhen arrival came nearer, Jiang Meili started feeling uneasy. She thought that maybe due to her pregnancy her hormones were acting up so she excused herself and went to her room. As soon as she left, a car stopped in front of the Fu Mansion.
A handsome man stepped out of the car. The man had a poker face and didn't even smile when Lu Mei hugged her son enthuasily. This handsome man was none other than Fu Zhen.
"What's wrong with your face? Can't you smile after seeing your mother? Do you even know how to use those muscles in your face? Hmph!" annoyed Lu Mei said. Silence was what answered her.
"This is all your fault, Fu Han. Because of you he inherited that poker face," Fu Han was scolded by Lu Mei as Fu Zhen didn't answer his mother.
"Mother, are we going to stand at the door for the rest of the night?" asked Fu Zhen, finally opening his mouth.
Seeing Fu Zhen getting impatient, Lu Mei asked everyone to go to the dining hall for dinner. After everyone sat down on their respective chairs, Fu Ai asked, "Where is sister LiLi, mom?"
In this one month, the seventeen year old Fu Ai became very close to the nineteen year old Jiang Meili. At first Fu Ai was very repulsive about Jiang Meili living in their house, but as she began to know Jiang Meili and how she built up a company within 6 months despite being pregnant, she became her fan. It could be said that Fu Ai was Jiang Meili's number one fan and can't tolerate sharing her with anyone. She went as far as to fight with Fu Shen whenever he mentioned that JIang MEili was his best friend and not Fu Ai's.
"She was not feeling well so she went to her room. I will send her dinner in her room." replied Fu Shen.
"Aigoo! As her due date is nearing her health is becoming more unstable. I think I have to take her to the doctor tomorrow," said Lu Mei.
"That would be best. I still find it a pity that such a good girl is not our daughter-in-law," even Fu Han complimented Jiang Meili.
Seeing such care and love for Jiang Meili, Fu Zhen started wondering who this girl really was. He had no idea that Jiang Meili was Fu Shen's best friend. All these concerns for her, increased Fu Zhen curiosity.
"Who is…"
"Don't show your scary face in front of her. She is pregnant and timid so don't scare her. Hmph!"
Even before Fu Zhen could complete her question Fu Han started scolding him. If it was his mother Fu Zhen could still believe it but getting scolded by his father for a random pregnant woman, his interest in Jiang Meili increased more.
'Ha! Even my father scolded me for you! Now I am really looking forward to seeing you, Jiang Meili!' thought Fu Zhen.
