"YOU DID IT BABY!" Boomed a deep voice. Cruz jolted awake. Suddenly a burst of piercing cold hit him. Yet to his surprise he couldn't control his body and he could barely see. And for some reason, he had a weird compulsion to cry due to the cold.
"WAAAAAAAA!" His mind was clouded with thoughts about all the different things around him and the fact he was experiencing blindness.
"Awwww. Mrs. Terraze do you want to hold him?"
"Y-Yeah" Cruz heard a woman croak weakly. Yet the tone was laced with liveliness.
Suddenly Cruz felt himself being moved through space as his surroundings changed into a warm embrace.
"What will you guys be naming him?"
The man and woman made brief eye contact. Without a seconds more hesitation she grinned. "Cruz. Cruz Terazzes-Carrasco" she said with youthful vibrance and joy despite her just giving birth a few minute ago.
With that Cruz lost consciousness for the 3rd time that day. However this wasn't due to death or dimensional travel it was simply because he was an infant. An infinitely uncomplicated reason but one that held an infinite amount of implications.

2 MONTHS LATER
In a high-class gated neighborhood in one of the many mansions was an infant lying in his crib. Surrounded on all sides by vibrant yellow walls and animals decorating the inside. Toys were scattered among the crib. There lied Cruz. A man and a woman to the side watched as he struggled, at this moment it just looked like a toddler exploring the movement of their limbs. Hence they were smiling warmly.
At this moment he was trying his best to control his arms but unfortunately, all that led to was the flinging of his limbs. He looked like any other ordinary toddler.
'COME ON DAMN IT WORK!' He though making coos came out. It had been like this ever since his vocal cords had allowed him to be controlled to an extent. His tongue however was no bueno for now. However, this was still minuscule. This was, however, progress, no matter how pitiful or adorable it may look.
In trying to control his limbs suddenly his eyes started to water 'fuck not this again'. It had become a thing to cry whenever something wasn't going his way. Against his will he started blinking profusely. 'What in the world is going on?' With each blink his vision grew clearer and clearer. Until eventually he could see unhindered. 'Holy shit I can finally see!' Cruz for the past couple months had tried with no results to see clearly. He even went as far as not blinking for an extended period of time. Which caused his parents to worry.
What welcomed him in his vision was a black man dressed in a suit at 6'5" with locs tied up in the back with on hanging in the front to the side. His light brown golden-hued skin glowed a vibrance that spoke of his youth. His plump lips were an irritated reddish hue accentuating them even more. He was ripped as all hell and his piercing brown eyes that gave off a sense of maturity were enough to make any woman melt. Not only that His beard covering the lower half of his face and mustache were neatly trimmed to a stubble.
'I'm still black!'He thought thinking about the 'stay black and die' saying in his previous life and if he could speak he would've cackled like a maniac. Taking a closer look observing his new father more. "Holy shit that must be my Dad! Did I win the jackpot of genetics!?" Cruz gleefully cheered making a series of "ooh's" and "ahhs" coo out of him making his father smile warmly at him, flashing his perfectly aligned teeth that held no imperfection at all. However, this wasn't the end of Cruz's surprise because an equally stunning woman came up to the side of the crib next to the man.
This woman was the epitome of beauty. Like her husband she too had locs however, hers were smaller and hung all the way to her chest. She had beautiful bright brown eyes that were radiating warmth at that moment. Her beautiful and unblemished Dark brown skin radiated an aura of a goddess. She had a wide button nose and almond-shaped eyes with large plump lips that would make every man fantasize. Not only that but her curvy body only enhanced her perfectly symmetrical and balanced features making this woman an unparalleled beauty!
"No way this is my mom? I'm gonna be so hot!" Suddenly a flood of emotions overwhelmed him. Cruz hadn't been blessed with a family in his last life. His parents were unknown and he was dropped at a random ladies' door. Or rather abandoned.
"WAAAAAA!" He screamed all of a sudden, crying had yet to become something he could control. But this wasn't the standard infantile "I shit my pants" cry. Rather this time it was containing years of grief one that stemmed from lack of kinship.
"What happened Cruz?" His father said in a baby voice. Rather embarrassing for a 15-year-old but for some reason Cruz felt it was amusing and entertaining.
"I don't smell anything." His father spoke casually turning his attention to his wife. Oh yeah along with losing bodily control meant he couldn't control backside matters. This led to a lot of embarrassing moments for Cruz however nothing could embarrass him at this point because of this so he just let it be.
"He just ate so how can he be hungry?" His mother questioned. She then picked him up making low shush sounds which only seemed to intensify Cruz's outburst. He had never been comforted like this and this Familial bond was something completely new to Cruz and seeing someone care for him. However strong he appeared and however unbothered he appeared lack of parental guidance someone to say "I love you" or "goodnight" too would eventually get to anybody.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
30 MINUTES LATER
Cruz finally stopped crying. He wasn't doing it on purpose though after about 15 minutes he managed to calm down mentally, the same didn't go for his infant body though, so he continued to scream and cry his head off for 15 more minutes.
"I think he's finally calmed down." Cruz's father said in a tired voice laying down Cruz in his crib. After all, calming down a screaming and crying infant will take its toll on anyone.
"Holy shit that took a lot longer than it should have. I really shouldn't have wished for stagnated mental maturity, it seems like that had some adverse effects." Cruz said in an equally tired voice or more like a babble. His eyes felt extremely heavy and eventually, he lost himself in slumber succumbing to that tantalizing sleep.
