Chapter 18 - Laugh Of Destiny

Jerua was sitting on the mundane of a fallen tree. He was sharpening the edge of a slander branch for the sake of time pass. He had been alone, contemplating on some unfathomable point in the sky. Hinata was not around. He had been to the city for some business affair and was not intended to return before fortnight. Suddenly, Jerua detected some motion in the wild grass behind his back. Grass was 10 feet long and he could not actually determine who had been trying to hide in this grass. It seemed to be a delicate reflection of somebody. He suddenly wanted to catch the shadow but shadow was pretty swift and it started running away when Jerua tried to get up, advanced in its way and follow it. He did not want to lose. He felt being challenged. For, he was not successful in catching it firsthand. He heard a girlish giggle. A kind, benevolent laugh he had never heard of.
