Grey had his plan, and it was time to act to see if it was possible to make it happen in reality.
'The consciousness is tied together with the soul of the individual in question, I know the soul exists, I came to this world as one.'
Grey had a serious face as he tried to feel his soul, he knew the feeling he was looking for as he remembered the time he had been a ghost flouting on Earth.
He did his soul finding mission but seating on the ground inside his tent as he meditated, he had made the tent to be completely dark as to prevent anything from distracting his thoughts.
What he was doing was different from magic accumulation meditation, as he did not follow a particular breathing rhythm, he just tried to observe his inner self, so to say.
'I know that the soul is tied together with the magic talent of a mage, the people who are born with strong souls usually have magic talent in this world.'
Grey thought of the students in his class during his time in the academy.
'However the world is no fair, people are born with different soul strengths which leads to having different magic talents.'
Grey thought of himself and remembered the conversation he had had with the soul recycling system of the universe that Earth is located in.
'I had a naturally strong soul such that I was brought to a world that I had fantasied about, I should be able to feel that feeling that I felt as a ghost if I continue to meditate like this.'
Grey continued his meditation exercise.
Sometime he thought of special people like the tier 6 magic talent individuals.
'I wonder if that is a natural phenomenon, or if it can be induced.'
It would not make sense if a child had such a strong soul, it was a soul that had the natural ability to reach Arc Mage realm after all.
'I believe either the people of this world have a way to make these children develop a strong souls by using untold rituals. The other method that I can think off is that a person had reincarnated and become the said child.'
The whole situation had made Grey to think about these special children who have very strong souls even if he does not usually focus on them.
Huff!
Grey released a lot of air as he breathed out.
'This is slightly difficult, but I felt I made some progress. I would like to believe that the royals have a better method of finding the soul.'
Grey found out that as he meditated, he had the feeling of sinking down. Grey felt that he was sinking down towards a light at the bottom of a large body of water.
'At this rate it will take me over a month to reach the bottom, if the fighting restarts, I might take at least two months to reach the bottom.'
Grey assessed his rate of descent as he sank, the rate made him frown.
When Grey finished his meditation session, he felt very tired, like his energy had been drained out. Grey immediately went to sleep in order to regain his energy levels.
When he woke up the next day, he felt very much relaxed with a lot of energy.
Grey had been correct about a lot of his assumptions about the royals having a better way to finding one's inner self, which is the soul.
The difference was the difficulty of type of exercise.
Many people with a lot of information understood the process of trying to find the inner self, however many people never even felt the feeling of sinking.
At most, these people just do what could be called a normal meditation by Earth's standards.
Grey got his morning rations, with his increased time for magic accumulations he decided that he would stop magic sparing, he had already told Qila and she understood.
Thus he did not join the team practice, instead went to accumulate magic, he wanted the inner self search to be the last thing he did in a day as it drained him of energy.
After finishing his magic accumulation, he went to the table to actually start the final design of the magic ring.
With a way that will help him get to his consciousness, all that was left was the magic ring design.
'My original plan was to give my mana a disruptive ability, it would put an opponent's mana in disarray. This I had decided would not be enough to interrupt a mage's casting because a competent mage could just resist my mana, thus preventing interruption.'
Grey thought back to his past self as a 12 year old finishing his magic language, which is still not fully finished because of the lack of understanding of the Arc Mage realm.
'I had decided that if I had a way to also disrupt the thought stream of an enemy mage, then proper interruption would not be a fantasy.'
Grey thought back to the Legendary spell, [Reaper Summoning], and the great ability to control the spell that Prince Alexander Wilhelm Arin had shown.
'If I can use my consciousness which will be inside of my spell, to practically blast out the equivalent of Noise into the thought stream of the enemy mage. The mage could quickly resist my disruptive mana, but it would take a while before a mage could get their bearings after such a blast of Noise into their mind. The interruption would have worked, in battles where even a second of disruption can get you killed, this ability would be deadly.'
Grey had a big smile as he thought of the finished product.
Grey started to get to work, designing the easy stuff first.
'With how my magic language works, I can keep the effects of [Light Duality Enhancer] at tier 2 even if it is a tier 1 Magic Ring.'
Grey internally observed the [Light Duality Enhancer] that was around his heart.
'The [Light Duality Enhancer] enhanced all my light magic by 9.2%. For tier 2, I don't want to focus only on my main element, I want all my affinities to be enhanced with my tier 2 Magic Ring. That would cover one Activation, the Strengthen, I would still be missing the second Activation.'
The single Strengthen Activation would give Grey a big lead amongst the other tier 2 mages, at tier 1, it did not show much because the [Light Duality Enhancer] only enhanced his Light Magic by a measly 9.2%.
What Grey was planning to do was fully enhance his three element affinities as close as possible to the theoretical limit of a tier 2 Magic Ring, 50%.
When compared, other tier 2 mages can only choose to enhance either the defence, offence, movement or control ability of only one element, most choosing their main element.
This method leads to Magic Rings like [Increased Magic Damage], [Increased Magic Resistance] and etc. The tier 2 mage will choose which element gets the effect of these Magic Rings.
Grey would be already powerful with such a magic ring, but that would not make him feel better, thus the Casting Interruption Activation.

The military command of the kingdom of Arin was a very important place where the safety of the Arin Kingdom was the main priority.
However, in this important place, there was a region that did not feel like a military installation, and more like an academy.
This region was called The Main Academy, and inside one of the buildings in this region.
"Mam, here is the research package that you wanted."
A woman reported to another woman who was in her office.
"This is research that Captain Hans Ignocia hoped we could pull to the front of the que?"
The woman looked at the package.
"Grey Gram?"
The woman opened the package and started reading, it was not long that she got caught up in the reading and started to heavily focus on the document.
Huff. Huff. Huff.
The woman found herself breathing heavily as excitement welled inside her heart.
The woman who brought the package who also happened to be her assistant also got interested in the information when she saw her superior breathing heavily.
After reading for an hour, the woman stopped and turned to her assistant.
"Go summon the Magic Ring Masters that are available in the Academy."
The woman ordered calmly.
