"Flynn, Grey, Miranda, you three come first."
The three were called by 1st Lt Miller, they then went to Dean Julia Becker.
"Main element?"
Dean Becker asked Flynn.
"Earth element Mam."
The Dean removed a book from her pocket and she gave it to him. He then received the book and went back to seat down.
"Main element?"
"Light element Mam."
The same thing happened again, where she pulled out a book from her pocket.
'I think she might be using the fabled pocket space artifact to keep her things. This means that there is a profession that is in charge of creating special artifacts like these. I spent too much time reading about magic that I neglected other subjects.'
Grey thought to himself as he received his breathing method book.
The book detailed a special breathing method, it detailed the muscles that must be activated during the breathing to allow the breathing method to work as intended.
'If the breathing method is paired with magic crystals, the rate at which a mage can climb magic tiers will be higher.'
Grey and most of the children spent about 10 minutes to memorise the contents of the book.
When they were done memorising the book, the children returned books to the dean, after that she left room number 03.
"Young mages, we have been together for 5 years, this will be the last time I address you as your instructor."
1st Lt Miller started to address the children, he even changed the way he addressed them.
"When you graduate you will become comrades with myself, Dale and Lt Jones. There is a high chance we will meet in the field of combat especially with talks of war coming in the next few years. I hope you will look after our backs in those situations."
The 1st Lt had a smile on his face, though it did not give the feeling that the fellow was acting like he usually does, or maybe he was, after all he was a tier 2 mage, he could make a tier 0 mage think he was being sincere whilst he was not.
"You are dismissed."
The children left the room with mixed feelings about the 1st Lt, Grey just glanced at the lieutenant and left room number 03, he was not the only one who just glanced at the lieutenant.
People like Scarlet and Miranda just left as well, ungrateful children these bunch.
Grey went to have lunch afterwards, he had lunch alone as he wanted to think, Miranda and Scarlet had lunch together separately.
After that, he went back to his room in his dorm, he wanted to started packing, he was leaving the dorm after living here for 5 years in.
It looked like he had to move to a different place every five years of his life.
Unlike before when he came to the academy, he had more belongings, in the form of books and clothes.
Later in the afternoon, Grey left the dorm and went to the other side of the Academy, he was not the only one who was leaving, his neighbour Flynn and some of the children were also leaving.
He managed to get to the other side of the Academy, he had never been to this side as it was prohibited.
In terms of looks, it was no different, except that there were more building and the atmosphere was more intellectual, like it was a university.
The students of this side of the Academy did not seem to be separated in their age group like they did on the other side of the academy, speaking of that, the children never figured out why that was instituted on the other side.
Grey went to the new dorm that he was assigned to, the room if we could call it that was considerably larger.
The room was actually an apartment, the place had one bedroom and a study and a bathroom, it only lacked a kitchen.
Grey had always struggled to find a space in his small room to fit his many books.
It looked that the people had thought about the need for a study room for the young mages.
He unpacked all his belongings before resting for a while, he thought about he plans he had made for his development that had to be changed.
The previous plans entailed a stable development, which would eventually lead to him getting to Major rank, but Scarlet's wishing power is not be underestimated.
The plan had to change, the new plan had account for a chaotic environment, he had to agree with Scarlet that fast military development only happened when there was a war.
Grey even knew of an anime character from space sci fi anime that got a higher military rank when his superior was incapacitated during a space battle.
Grey also reviewed all the tier 0 spells in the elements of Light, Fire and Wind, he had to start practicing using spells.
He also had to start thinking about his mage path, he knew it should not be something simple.
He did not want a tier 1 ring that would only allow him support a single spell, he already knew the weaknesses of tier 1 magic rings and wanted something better.
As Grey left his room he met a person who he believed was his neighbour, the observed the male, he was 1.6m, slightly taller than Grey.
"Hi, I am Noah Belfort, 12 years of age, tier 0 mage like you."
Noah looked like a happy person, he looked like he was enjoying life to the full.
He had a smile on his face as he greeted Grey. Noah had black hair with green eyes with a balanced build, he could be considered handsome, but he was not too handsome like the King of Arin.
"Grey Gram, 10 years old."
After that Grey did not wait for further talk, he just left, he did not want to associate with people like Sheldon.
He arrived in the new dining hall, he did not find the dining hall staff to be gossiping which lead him think that the students on this side of the Academy had other ways to get information.
Grey still had dinner alone as well, Miranda and Scarlet were already used to this type of behaviour, it was when he wanted to think.
The next morning Grey finished his morning things like showering and having breakfast and then went to straight to his Magic Ring Design Class.
