Rosie was standing at the gate of Bloodworth Estate with a carriage.
When she saw Adonis coming, she smiled at him.
Adonis smiled at her too.
Behind him were the Duke of Bloodworth, a child and his butler.
Rosie took Adonis's luggage and put it inside their carriage.
"The Bloodworth Dukedom must have taken good care of our Master. He seems to have gained some weight."
Holt smiled and replied to Rosie,"It was our please to serve such kind Ma-Master."
Adonis turned around and smiled at Holt.
"Thank you so much for taking good care of me, Holt. Take care."
He bowed and said,"As I said, it's my pleasure, Young Master Adonis."
Then Adonis turned towards Osiris and said,"Take care of yourself well. Take Holt's advice. Eat all the meals in time and don't run to the balcony. Be good and study well but don't strain yourself too much. Relax sometimes and don't eat too much sweet too."
"Yes, mommy."
Osiris nodded obediently.
His determined face made him look ten times cuter than his usual cute self.
Holt smiled at them while Rosie looked clueless.
She muttered to herself,"I didn't even leave him for a week and he's already Mommy of that big child. God, can't imagine what would have happened if I came some days later."
Adonis finally looked at the Duke, but for some reason he couldn't look at him in eyes.
His heart was aching for this person more.
He smiled said,"Thank you so much for the hospitality, Duke. Take care of yourself too."
"Ummm. You too-"
Before Duke could say anything more Adonis stepped back with a smile. But his slightly glistening eyes didn't go unnoticed.
He said,"I'll be on my way then. Hope you guys do well. Let's go, Rosie."
Rosie nodded and opened the door for him.
He hurried in and sat.
As the carriage started moving, he waved for one last time and the two group of people lost sight of each other in no time.
Two people had two thoughts in their mind.
[I'll miss you.]
[Wait for me.]
Rosie looked at her Young Master who was looking outside the window, drowning in his own thoughts.
Something about him seemed different.
The time they were on the carriage to the Bloodworth Dukedom, he still had a bit of childish innocence in his eyes. Like he lacked just a bit of adult experience.
Now his eyes were still kind but somehow seemed more mature. Like he had experienced life and scarified too.
Like he had loved and lost. But who?
Rosie though for a while and her eyes widened.
Huh? That scandalous Duke? I mean, the Duke with most rumors? The one who's the most popular subject of gossip, all the times?
She sighed.
"Young Master, do you want something? Some kind of refreshments?"
Adonis looked at her and said,"I'm okay, no thanks."
She took out something from her pocket and extended it towards Adonis.
"Helps a lot when there's lot on your head."
He looked at it. It was milk candy.
He smilingly took it.
He ate and said,"Mmmmm. Tastes nice. Where did you get it? Osiris will definitely like it."
"I'll have some sent to the Bloodworth Young Master."
Adonis nodded his head.
"Is everyone doing well?"
"Yes, Young Master."
"The business and Drusilla's Class?"
"Lady Drusilla is learning very well. And the businesses are being taken care of in full speed. The only thing to be reported is that we've emptied half of the Arnall's Money Safe."
"It's okay. We'll earn 20 times more once this businesses start."
"Understood."
The whole journey Adonis kept on looking outside the window.
They stopped to get some desserts for all the cousins on the way and then proceeded.
As soon as he reached the Arnall Estate, everyone came running to him.
"Ado, were you well?"
"Brother, how was your trip?"
"You good?"
He looked at all of them and smiled.
He also noticed that Drusilla was looking happy and healthy. He caressed her as she held his hands and walked to sit together.
They all looked happy at his arrival.
"I'm good, very well. How are you guys doing?"
Ozias came forward and said,"Brother there's a surprise to you from your intelligent, handsome and strong brother. Ask me, ask me."
"What is it?"
"I got accepted to train in Bloodworth Knight Academy."
Adonis beamed and said,"Really?"
Ozias straightened his back and said proudly,"Aren't you impressed brother?"
Adonis hugged him and said,"I'm proud of you."
It caught Ozias off guard. He smiled and said,"Thank you, brother."
All the others came and hugged them.
"We're proud of you, Ozias."
"Thank you, everyone."
They had the dessert on tha table, chatting happily.
After that, they moved to Adonis's study.
"Sister Juno and Mila decides two places opposite to each other in the heart of the town. And Lucia's Antique shop and Rufus's Bar will be near Theif's Alley. Hmmmm."
"Sir Blake Delve suggested it to us."
They all looked at Adonis in anticipation.
"That's perfect."
Everyone breath sigh of relief.
"Ado, you seem to have found a very talented supporter. How did you find him?"
Adonis looked ahead and said,"I'll say it's fate, sister. What is the estimated time for the businesses opening?"
Rosie came forward to speak.
"The first one to open will be Young Master Rufus's Bar. It'll be ready to open in one month. Followed by Lady Juno's restaurant, Lady Lucia's Antique shop and Lady Mila's restaurant. It'll take 2 and 3 months respectively."
"That's good."
Lucia spoke,"Come to think of it, it'll be Brother's 20th birthday in more than a month."
"Yes, yes."
"Preparation is going to start."
"I've something to inform to Young Master."
Adonis looked at Rosie and said,"What is it?"
"Lady Isolde sent a letter today."
Everyone became quiet as soon as they heard Isolde's name.
"She said she'll be arriving ten days before your birthday."
Adonis put down his pen and turned towards his cousins.
"My dear brothers and sisters, have you done what I had told you before I left?"
They all nodded his head.
Mila spoke,"Found all maids brought by Isolde, more like spies."
"Me too."
"I also have."
"Yes."
Adonis smriked and said,"Now it's time to become a child of high society."
"As in?"
"Spoilt."
"Huh?"
"We all know, the types of spoil children of noble who would fire servants just because of something petty."
All of them looked at each other with an amused smile on her face.
