[Hyunjae POV]
I was running around the hall of the kingdom as it was a huge celebration tonight. The king's one and only son was returning after 18 years. He was only 6 years old when he last saw his parents. As the Queen's favourite servant, I had to take care of all the errands.
Queen: Hyunjae, get the suit ready darling.
I left everything and rushed to the master bedroom where the prince had to stay. I looked at the suit and it was perfect! The Queen always treated me like his own son because she thought that I was his real son and never actually saw me as a slave which I was. I was their favourite since I would do my work instantly without anything ruining and the majesty trusted me with their life.
Only 20 mins were left until the prince arrived. The king and the queen sat at their places in their chairs while I stood behind them on the right. Soon the great door opened revealing A young handsome boy with 9 servants at the back following him. He looked so stunning! The queen got up and hugged him as he hugged back, The whole family were in a hug when suddenly we heard something break.
It was a vase. A servant accidentally dropped it by tripping over it, the prince walked toward the servant and gave a warm smile to her before reaching out to help her. The king looked so proud of him.
Soon the dinner was ready, All the guests gathered up but I stood behind the queen while they were having dinner.
Queen: Ah yes Juyeon, this is your personal servant that will be with you 24/7 and his name is hyunjae.
Oh, so his name was Juyeon. Such a pretty name.
He glanced at me and gave me a warm smile while I was trying hard not to blush.
[TIME SKIP]
I was getting the bed set for Juyeon when I heard a voice from the bathroom.
Juyeon: Hyunjae! I forgot the towel, can you hand it to me?
I grabbed the towel and knocked on the door, he opened it and peeked over but I could see his bare chest. He smiled and took the towel, I went back to the bed.
I was waiting for prince juyeon to come outside so that I could ask if he needed anything else. I was staring at the ceiling while standing when I heard snaps. I looked over to see Juyeon with a towel around his waist.
I looked away and bowed at him.
Hyunjae: Sir do you need anything else?
Juyeon: Uhm I don't think so, you can leave if you want to.
I bowed again then left and walked towards my room which was bigger than a standard room. I plopped on the bed and relaxed my muscles as I had been running from the morning just for a feast for a prince, Gosh! I wasn't ready for tomorrow because tomorrow Juyeon had a party with someone the king knows and unluckily I had to go with him. Screw my life!
[Time Skip]
My eyes slowly opened as the morning sunshine was gleaming on me. I rubbed my eyelids before going to the washroom.
I got ready for the whole damn event as juyeon in the other room was also getting ready. I looked at myself in the mirror and spoke to myself 'Gosh...I really am handsome huh!"
"Well nobody said that you aren't handsome jaehyun"
Hearing that voice and looked back just to see prince juyeon checking me out. As it's my priority to show respect, I bowed to him while he smile.
He closed the door behind us and came near me...he got close to my right ear and spoke.
Juyeon: Maybe that body might look even prettier in my bed.
I moved back a little and stared at him while my cheeks were red.
Juyeon: Don't be shy! You're cute jaehyun!
Hyunjae: Uh thanks your majesty, but I need to get ready.
Juyeon: Oh, of course, I'll just sit here and mind my own business.
He showed a smile at me but my brain was not working at the moment. "Why would he want to sit and watch my change"
I ignored the thought and grabbed my clothes then left towards the washroom.
After some minutes, I came out looking all nice. Juyeon and I went down to the Queen, she placed her hand on my shoulder as he looked at me.
Queen: Hyunjae, today u aren't going to the ball as a servant, you're going as our son...My son!
She spoke with a smile and a smile automatically formed on my lips as a tear rolled down my eye. I thanked her and followed Juyeon.
[Time Skip]
Everything was great! Everything was cool! I looked at Juyeon who was busy playing with his glass.
Hyunjae: Your majesty, why don't you get along with the princess over there? She's pretty.
He shared a glance at her but then again started titling his drink. I scoffed and sat beside him.
Hyunjae: Something wrong your majesty?
Juyeon: Yeah.
He shared a tempting stare with me which probably got both of us nervous and looked away.
Hyunjae: May I ask what's wrong?
Juyeon: I like someone, but the Queen or the King will never accept it.
Hyunjae: Oh.
I remained silent for some time then spoke again.
Hyunjae: And who's that person?
Juyeon: His name is-
"HIS"???
Juyeon: Lee
LEE???
Juyeon: Sangyeon
SANGYEONN????
BRO TF?
Hyunjae: Sangyeon hyung? Seriously Juyeon?
Juyeon: Juyeon?
I realized that i just called him by his name.
Hyunjae: Ah I'm so sorry your majesty.
Juyeon: You're the first one to pronounce my name right. Everyone calls my jeon...It's irritating.
Hyunjae: Oh.
I slightly nodded cause I had no words in my mouth.
I looked at the other side probably looking at the princess over there when Juyeon grabbed my chin and brought it closer to his face.
Juyeon: Guess what?.. Looks like I'm in love.
Hyunjae: Huh?
Juyeon: Hyunjae look...I know this early but yesterday when I came inside the kingdom, you caught my eye and I feel for you very badly.
There was complete silence between us as he left go of my chin.
Hyunjae: We'll talk about that later.
He nodded and I got up from there.
I WAS IN A HELLA CONFUSING SITUATION RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!
[Time Skip]
The whole ball was over and I was in Juyeon's room bcz he told me to wait for him there. I was busying staring at the stars when a hand made its way around waist and someone's face being settled on my shoulder.
I looked at Juyeon who has sad eyes at the moment.
Hyunjae: Something wrong?
Juyeon: The boy I love doesn't love me back.
Hyunjae: Oh that's sad.
Juyeon: Are u dumb? Or do u like playing dumb?
Hyunjae: What?
Juyeon: I'm literally talking about you right now and you're like 'oh that's sad'.
Hyunjae: Well? What else should i say? Oh that's great that he doesn't like you back or should i say wow that person is a idiot because he likes you.
I looked away bcz i was frustrated.
He turned me towards him and spoke.
Juyeon: You know that i like you right?
Hyunjae: U told me that this morning but i didn't take it serious.
He leaned it towards my lips and softly placed them on my lips sending millions of butterflies in stomach. I gave in without even thinking, our make out session was probably getting a lot hotter.
His hands roaming around my waist as I pulled him more close to deepen the kiss.
The night went along like that! And many things happened!
