[Hyunjae's POV]
I was walking around the park waiting for someone to show up and that's when I heard a familiar voice calling my name and I instantly knew who it was. It was Juyeon! My boyfriend. He hugged me, kissed my neck, and then fixed the hair strands on my forehead.
Juyeon: How was my sugar plum?
Hyunjae: Tired and dead wbu?
Juyeon: Hmm what made my baby tired?
Hyunjae: Work you know.
Juyeon: Are you overworking again?
Hyunjae: No no I swear I'm not this time. You can ask younghoon hyung too if you want.
Juyeon: No need, I trust my baby. But I'm serious.
Hyunjae: How have you been?
Juyeon: I was good but had a lot of missions so I didn't have any time even to call you, I hope you didn't mind.
Hyunjae: Oh it's fine bub! I was busy myself so it doesn't matter. But what matters is whether you are staying with me today or not.
Juyeon: Oh I didn't check my schedule so I probably have to go later on.
Hyunjae: Get lost!
I said as I turned around and started walking home.
Juyeon: Oh come on Jaehyun, I was kidding! I am staying with you for a week this time.
Hyunjae: Really?
He hummed in response and smiled while I hugged him and he landed a peck on my lips.
[TIME SKIP]
I looked at Juyeon who was getting ready to sleep next to me. He turned off the light and got inside the blanket.
Juyeon: Oooooh It's cold!
Hyunjae: It's not that cold come on.
Juyeon: You don't feel cold but I do.
Hyunjae: Okay sleep now.
[TIME SKIP]
[NEXT MORNING] [Juyeon's POV]
I woke up as I felt no presence around me. He must be downstairs then but I heard no sound from downstairs.
I got up and called his name several times but no reply was given. I checked the washroom, the kitchen, the balcony, and the entire house but no sign of him. I tried calling him but his phone was at home. And at this point, I got hella worried. The only thing that came to my mind was Taeyong hyung, Hyunjae's older brother. I dialled his number and thankfully he picked up.
[On Call]
Taeyong: Oh good morning juyeon.
Juyeon: Good morning hyung. A quick question. Is hyunjae with you?
Taeyong: Uh no why?
Juyeon: Well do you know where he might be?
Taeyong: Maybe at the company, I don't know... why?
Juyeon: Nothing, I'll explain later.
Taeyong: Try calling him.
Juyeon: I did but he left his phone at home. But I'll talk later.
With that, I ended and call and grabbed my coat and made my way to his company. I was driving in such a rage that I could've been in an accident for sure but I was lucky.
I entered Lee's Company and went to his secretary.
Juyeon: Is hyunjae here today?
Secretary: No sir, he didn't come today.
Juyeon: The fuck?
I turned around and ran outside but the person I saw next shook the whole world under my feet. It was- it- it was my- it was my biggest enemy looking at me with a smirk and that was when I knew that something bad happened to hyunjae but how? He was right beside me the whole night. I must've felt something but I didn't.
I looked at him with fierce full eyes and he made his way to me. He stood in front of me and showed me a picture oh hyunjae? He had hyunjae?
Wooyoung: This your slut right? Oh too bad he's ours now.
He showed me a wicked smile and said.
Wooyoung: You just need to do one thing to get hyunjae back.
Juyeon: And what- what is that?
Wooyoung: You know how everyone is after your crown? The being the world's most dangerous mafia title. Quit being a mafia and give that crown to me.
I looked at him with no emotion and I couldn't;t give up being a mafia because I have to take my dad's revenge. But I needed hyunjae back. He is the only person whom I love and have. Mom was a traitor and was after dad's money so I only have hyunjae in my life now and I needed him back no matter what.
Juyeon: Fine.
He looked at me shocked but soon laughed.
Wooyoung: That was quick.
Juyeon: But bring me hyunjae first.
Wooyoung: Uh uh uh! You think you can do your little tricks on me. Come with me and I'll give you some documents that you will have to sign to give up your position.
[Time Skip]
I followed wooyoung to an abandoned place and there he took me to a place where hyunjae was tied up with ropes and he was unconscious.
Juyeon: WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM?
Wooyoung: Relax, he blacked out.
Juyeon: I swear wooyoung, if you did anything to him, I'll destroy your whole life and you know I can do it you dumbshit.
He just scoffed and pulled me to a table in front of hyunjae. There was a document on it.
Wooyoung: Sign it to give up your position.
I opened the document and went through it.
Hesitating while my hands shake as I pick up the pen. Unable to write as I looked up when I heard a soft groan and it was hyunjae. I got up and went to him and his lips were bleeding. Why tf would he touch his lips? I caressed his cheek and looked at him while he had tears in his eyes.
Hyunjae: I'm sorry. I'm sorry juyeon.
He spoke with a weak voice but I kept quiet because I wanted to do nothing except break wooyoung's skull.
Hyunjae: I'm sorry I got you into this. I regret everything now. I wish I never dated you. Today you wouldn't be here.
Juyeon: Shush stop talking this nonsense, honey. I'm here to get you okay and I won't leave without you no matter what bub.
Tears fell from my eyes as we joined our foreheads and intertwined our hands together.
Wooyoung: The more time you take juyeon to sign the paper, the more dangerous it will be for hyunjae.
I looked up at wooyoung and saw his men pointing a gun right at his head.
I got up and signed the paper without thinking but maybe that was the biggest mistake I ever made.
Wooyoung made me kneel down in front of him while I was facing hyunjae as wooyoung's men untied hyunjae and made him stand but they moved him away from me while I was still kneeling. Wooyoung came to me and whispered.
Wooyoung: Say bye-bye to the love of your life juyeon.
I shot opened my eyes as I heard him and I looked at hyunjae and that was when I heard a gunshot.

Hyunjae? Hyunjae wake up! HYUNJAE!
I cried while laying my head on his chest as I found out that hyunjae was gone. Gone forever. They shot him right in the chest. I was feeling the warmth on my right side since his blood was all over my right side.
I got up and looked at hyunjae.
Juyeon: I'll take revenge. I'll take revenge not for dad but for you this time. you didn't have to go through this. This happened just because of me. You got lost just because of me. I wish I never met you hyunjae. You were a great person but I just didn't deserve you. I'm sorry love. I'm sorry I couldn't save you. I kissed him on his pale lips and got up and picked up his body which got 2 times heavier than before since it was wasted now.
[5 MONTHS LATER]
Wooyoung: I'm sorry Juyeon.
Juyeon: You think sorry can bring back the love of my life?
Wooyoung: Please just let me go.
Juyeon: I already killed your family, what's the use of you living now?
And with that, I shot him right in his heart so he wouldn't have any chances of survival and within 2 seconds, wooyoung's body dropped flat on the floor of his house as well as his whole family that was laying on the ground dead but I heard a child's sound from a bedroom. It was his wife and his child, they were scared out of life.
His wife: Please don't kill me please.
Juyeon: I won't.
Of course, his wife and his child didn't do anything wrong so I took them to an orphanage.
I know I am gonna get caught by the police but I won't let them.
[Time skip]
I was at hyunjae's grave right now and crying happy tears at the moment.
Juyeon: I did it, baby! I finally took my revenge! But I didn't know he had a wife but I took her to an orphanage along with her child. I'm not a bad person, right? I'm good, same as how you told me to be and not to kill innocent people so I didn't kill his wife and his child but he killed you. You were innocent too. But now I'm happy. He's gone. Wooyoung's gone.
I shouted as I cried happy plus sad tears as I placed my hands on his grave.
Juyeon: And you know what? I finally made my decision. Since I took my revenge now I can die in peace so I'll just come to you now. Finally, we can be together again love. I love you!

Standing on the bridge's edge as I looked down ready to throw myself but suddenly got flashbacks of me and hyunjae together. All the special moments we had for 4 years. I smiled and tears fell from my eyes as I threw myself from the bridge while feeling the water coming near me. I said my last words.
Juyeon: I don't deserve to live without you.
And with that, the water splashed as I felt myself going deeper and deeper into the sea and I spoke in my mind 'I love you hyunjae and with that, I was done.
[Author's POV]
Juyeon's eyes closed as he went deeper into the sea. He had his last moment with only hyunjae in his mind. And that was how their love story ended.
