Sometimes in life is about receiving and giving.
When you are able to give, it means that you are capable to hold on to stability, being on the receiving end is not wrong.
That giver hopes that one day you can hold on to your own and you might be able to give to others as well.
You can say that it is sharing your things might bring you closer to understand or experience something in life.
"Xin'er how do you even do these puzzles? It seems impossible to solve," asked Kun Shao Ting. Yu Xin, who is fiddle with her newfound puzzles given by someone then said "Isn't it fun? It's like being a detective solving a case!"
As Yu Xin looked up online for certain information, not long she had solved the puzzle she had been trying for the past 3 hours. Kun Shao Ting then ordered his men to bring in snacks for teatime. "Where did you get these intricate puzzles?" asked Kun Shao Ting as he tried to figure out one of the puzzles that Yu Xin solved.
"I got it from someone I met while buying limited edition desserts from Belle Pâtissier. I had the last slice of cake that was on sale, but a guy behind me had a sad look on his face, eyes kept on my cake. So, I bought other cakes as well to fill up my stomach. I gave the last limited-edition cake to him in separate packaging, else I would feel guilty. I was intending to go back home, but then he asked me whether I wanted to share the cake.
Obviously, I said yes. It was the last day the cake was selling, would I not take the opportunity? I never knew there are other guys other than you had a sweet tooth. It seems that the guy had a similar taste to me, so I spent most of my time in the café with him. But, then he needed to leave. I then sent him off and bid farewell, he then passed me a bag of puzzles that he made as thanks".
Yu Xin then got up and took a slice of chocolate cake that Kun Shao Ting prepared for her. "Umm... Nice and chocolatey. Where did you buy this cake? I want to order". Kun Shao Ting then smiled to himself proudly. "Ting, why are you not answering me? Don't tell me you are going to horde the chocolate cake to yourself!" said Yu Xin as she took another bite of the cake and drags the other slice to her side.
Kun Shao Ting saw her antics and laughed then said "You can't buy this anywhere". Yu Xin then looks at her almost emptied plate and then muttered "I should have savored it more to remember the taste. Tsk." Seeing Yu Xin's sad face, Kun Shao Ting then said, "Whenever you want, just tell me."
Yu Xin then looked up at Kun Shao Ting's smiling face full of smug. "If it is not the chef that makes it, who can it be?" said Yu Xin trying to figure out who made the cake. 'His men? No, his men are mostly muscle heads. The maids? But would they even have time to bake, when they are always on the move?' Rubbing her nonexistence beard, she then stared at Kun Shao Ting.
Kun Shao Ting was surprised by her constant staring as she continues with round 2. As the both of them kept their eyes on each other, Kun Shao Ting could not handle it anymore, else he might die from her stare. He then points to himself and said "Yes, it was me".
Yu Xin was baffled, all she wanted from Kun Shao Ting was to expose the one who made the cake but never expect him to bake. Of all people, the person who baked this beautiful delicious cake is the guy who burns down the kitchen just to cook an egg.
"Lies!" shouted Yu Xin. Kun Shao Ting understands her point, he was ban from the kitchen after 3 tries trying to cook simple dishes. It was a wonder how one can cause a kitchen to burn down. Kun Shao Ting then carried her to the kitchen and said "Watch and see! It's really me".
Yu Xin quickly grabs a pot cover and took cover behind the kitchen island. After a while, the chocolate cake by Kun Shao Ting was done. Yu Xin was amazed and said "You have improved! Here I was worried we had to call for the fire department."
The maids and men had silent tears 'Miss, you never know how many kitchens equipment went to waste. Master had to start cooking outdoor with us holding onto fire extinguishers.
