The private plane landed in BB City at eight o'clock in the evening. Immediately they got off, Brandon drove Natasha to her apartment. The meeting went well and the couple was nice to her that she did not notice the silent man beside her who was focused on driving.
"They are so nice. I wonder if their daughter is as nice as them." Natasha said between smiles.
"No." Brandon answered keeping his eyes on the road.
"What do you mean no?" Natasha asked.
"I mean their daughter is quite different from them that it is impossible for one to think that she is their daughter. This apple fell far from the tree." Brandon clarified and took a turn. Natasha went silent for a while deep in thought.
"You know her?"
"I used to. Not anymore."
"It does not matter. Her parents are nice. As for the daughter, maybe something happened to her and made her different."
"Or she is not theirs." Brandon said under his breath. Natasha did not hear it. "Maybe." He said it out loud. "Are you hungry?" He asked the woman next to him.
"No. I am okay." She said. She sounded unsure.
The BMW parked in front of the Relax apartment and the couple went upstairs hand in hand. Brandon made a call before they got to Natasha's floor. When the elevator opened, Brandon was already holding his woman by the waist and had been trying to kiss her several times. He was not succeeding for she was constantly avoiding his kisses. He gave up when the door opened and she rushed out to her room. When she opened the door and turned on the lights, she was surprised to see how well kept the apartment had been. She had not been there for a while but it looked as if someone had been living there for a while. What surprised her was that most of the furniture in the house had been replaced with new, better and more expensive furniture. She turned around and looked at the man following closely behind her. "Why did you replace my furniture Boss Bran?"
"Because," He paused to think of a lie. Finding none, he bluntly said the truth. "Because the other furniture had been contaminated by a man who did not respect my woman." Natasha turned pink and shook her head avoiding his alluring eyes. Natasha took a while then she remembered suddenly.
"What happened to William?" She asked the man before her. He did not seem happy with her question. He did not plan to answer. "Brandon, what happened?"
"He harassed my woman so I sent him back to his family and told him to stay very far away from you. Or I will gorge out his eyes."
"His family? But I thought he had none."
"I found it and sent him there to help with farming. Harvest season is due very soon." Brandon said and took a step forward. Natasha took a step back. "Now, what about a kiss for being nice to him."
"You are such a sweet-talker." Natasha rolled her eyes and said as she walked to her room. She needed to change her shoes. When she switched on the lights, she was surprised to see everything was well arranged and put in to place, including the new things bought earlier by Brandon. She smiled at the thought of him.
"What are you thinking about?" Brandon interrupted the smiling girl. He adored her silly.
"Nothing." She said and threw herself on the bed. He rushed to help her take off her shoes. He squatted before her and took them off for her and helped her slide in to her purple fluffy sandals. "I am thinking of how blessed I am to have you." She let it out unconsciously. The man paused and looked at the woman drifting away before him. He lifted himself up and kissed her. It took her a while to know what was happening and by the time she realized the man was already on top of her and was kissing her passionately. She tried to push him away but she knew once he started, nothing could stop him. His kiss started moving down her head to her neck and she could hear his breath go faster. As his hand worked her way in to her dress, there was a knock on the door. "Brandon, someone is at the door."
"Ignore it." He answered and went on doing what he was doing.
"Darling, please." Natasha said sweetly. Brandon stopped and looked at her.
"What did you call me? Call me again." He said all smiles.
"I will after I answer the door." Natasha said and took this chance to be free of him and she rushed to open the door. Brandon was left smiling to himself. "Watson. Come in." He heard her answer the door. Watson looked past Natasha and saw his boss emerging from the bedroom and he did not look happy. He knew what he had interrupted and laughed inwardly. Looking at Natasha's expression, Watson knew he had saved her from the beast.
"Boss Brandon asked me to bring some food here. I am glad to see you are doing okay Ms. Claire." Watson said as he put the food on the kitchen counter. "Did I interrupt anything?"
"Yes." Brandon said.
"No." Natasha said even louder and rolled her eyes at the man behind her. "This is more than enough food and we had already eaten. Have you had supper? Why don't you join us for supper?" Watson looked at Brandon and saw the threat in his eyes but he ignored it.
"Thank you Ms. Claire. No, I have not yet had my supper. I am honored to join you." He said and sat down at the table. He avoided Brandon's eyes. Natasha got some plates and put the food in three plates and served the men. She then asked Watson to wash his hands and then to Brandon. After she had sat down with Watson, Brandon stood furiously looking at the man avoiding his eyes.
"Darling, sit." She said to the man still standing looking at Watson. Immediately he heard her words, Brandon smiled. Watson was surprised at the effect of this woman on her ever cold boss. Brandon went on and sat at the table with Natasha between him and Watson. "How long have you two been friends?"
"Six to seven years. Men hardly keep count of years like women do." Watson said proudly.
"Wow. So you are more like brothers than friends." Natasha commented and took a bite of the chicken. None of the men answered. She knew Watson could not answer that if Brandon did not. "Bran darling, are you best friends or brothers?" She pushed on. Brandon knew what she was doing. 'Smart girl.' He thought to himself and looked at Watson who looked at him for a brief moment then back at his food. He did not expect his boss to answer.
"There is no difference between the two. And it is six and a half years to be precise." Brandon said and looked lovingly at his girl. Watson almost choked on his piece of meat. Natasha looked at the two men happily. "Go get yourself some water from the fridge. My girl is not your help." Brandon ordered and Watson immediately got up and headed for the kitchen.
"Why did you not let me go?" Natasha suddenly asked. Brandon put down the fork in his hand confused. "When I was unconscious, you said you would let me go as soon as I woke up, and now I am your girl. Why did you not let me go?"
"Tasha," Brandon said and reached out to hold her hand. Watson returned again and interrupted the sweet moment. Natasha retracted her hand and continued to eat. Brandon reached out for the piece of chicken thigh in her hand and put it down. He then held her oily hand, completely ignoring the man staring at him in shock. "When your eyes opened the next day and I felt the relief of looking at them blink once more is when I realized that I had found something I want for me. And I did not want to let go of it just because of some crazy woman somewhere. So I held on. And now I have the pleasure of looking in to my love's eyes every day." Natasha was blushing and she regretted asking the question.
"Brandon, Watson is here." Natasha said in a low voice trying to hide her face by looking down at the floor.
"Get out." Brandon said and everyone knew who was being kicked out. The man looking enviously at the couple did not hear the words until he saw the man opposite him look at him dangerously. He snapped out of the romantic film he was watching and stood up immediately.
"Wait." Natasha stopped him and looked at Brandon. "Is he not taking you home?"
"Not today. Out." Brandon said to Watson.
"Bye Ms. Claire." Watson said and immediately left.
"But you have not even washed your hands…" The door slammed shut before Natasha could convince Watson to stay. She turned around and looked at the man behind her. "Brandon." She called him out. The man continued to eat comfortably. Natasha stood silently and looked at Brandon, pouting. She rolled her eyes and moved to the kitchen to get some water. She opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water. As soon as she closed the fridge, she smelt him. She immediately turned around and bumped into his strong masculine chest. She rolled her eyes at him again. He took a step closer and she took one back and without no much room left, she was leaning on the fridge. He trapped her between his arms again.
"Just today, you have rolled your eyes at me several times. What should I do with you Ms. Claire?" Brandon asked and leaned in, resting his forehead on hers. She did not reply as she was busy scheming on how to escape. Brandon slightly chuckled and whispered in her ear: "It seems someone has a lot of energy left, how about I show her how to use it…on me." His voice went lower and sexier and made goosebumps appear all over her body. He breathed out and his breath touched her neck and was followed by a kiss. She held her breath. Her body was becoming hot. She closed her eyes in surrender. But nothing happened. She then heard the kitchen tap open and someone washing his hands. She opened her eyes and found Brandon busy washing his hands. "What are you thinking about Ms. Claire?" He asked the silent woman leaning on the fridge with her hands tightly held on to her dress. He had a smirk on. The woman bit her lower lip and rolled her eyes.
"You are such a flirt!" She snapped underneath her breath and walked out of the kitchen. The bottle of water in her hand had become warm already from the heat her body was emitting. As she walked to her room, she felt even thirstier and gulped down the remaining amount of water. She smelt him again and before she could close the door behind her, she bumped in to him again. She restrained herself from rolling her eyes. He held her in his arms. "Boss Bran, there is an extra room. This is mine. And besides, are you not going home? It is late." Brandon smiled at her and stared deep in her eyes.
"I like every room as long as you are in it. And home is where you are. And besides, we have an unfinished business." He said and lifted her up and put her on the bed.
