"What made you two late huh" Daichi asked a little annoyed that his best friend (kinda) was with his little crush.
"Uhmm, we were stopped by the teacher?" Suga said while rubbing his shoulder and avoiding eye contact not really sure if his answer was convincing.
"Uhuh yeah sure" Daichi sarcastically replied and ushered them both to warm up before joining the others.
Hinata headed for Kageyama as he was already done stretching and asked him if he could practice with him and surprisingly Kageyama agreed without shouting or arguing with him or so he thought.
"Why were you and sugawara-san together?" He suspiciously asked the red head to only get a shrug as a response.
He decided to just dropped it and continue with practice which made the ginger look at him skeptically as he wasn't as persistent as he usually was but shrugged it off once more.
*TIME SKIP CAUSE IM LAZY LOL*
They were all in the changing room ready to head home and rest for the day but before that they headed to their coaches store to buy some meat buns.
As they were all walking to the store the loud dou as they call them started teasing both Sugawara and Hinata eyeing Sugawara suspiciously but to only get no answer from both of them.
They soon reached ukais store while the others were waiting for there meat meat bun tanaka scooted over to sugawara and whispered to him.
"Suga-san what did hinata say about the bruises" he asked quietly.
He sighed before answering his kohai's question,"he panicked and didn't say anything more, I didn't push him any further than that cause he looked uncomfortable and ready to pass out" he again sighed as he was really worried about the little tangerine.
They both sighed and looked and their teams sun with worry in their eyes. They both took their share of the buns and said there thanks to the team captain.
As soon as they all got their meat buns they all parted ways except for those who has the same path home.
The sound of their shoes as they walk and the crickets were the only thing you'll hear because none of them were talking which was fine for hinata because if Kageyama was to ask him that question again he didn't think he'll have any excuse nor any response to it.
As they were nearing hinatas home kageyama was about to open his mouth when suddenly hinata said goodbye and dashed off.
Which left kageyama flabbergasted and a alittle shocked at what just happened. He was just a little just a little mad that the ginger was so eager to go home and not answer his previous question.
"Dammit the tangerine really... He didn't have to dash off like that.Tch" he clicked his tounge and went on his way but never forgetting to hit him tomorrow in practice for avoiding his question.
