Jason stared back at the crown prince with a sting in his eyes. He did not wish to be parted with the male, he wished for nothing else in the world than to be surrounded by the man's smile. Everything had come to that moment and the goodbye was not something he was prepared for.
He was being pulled away by the butler to return to Xeris, a kingdom he wanted nothing to do with. His home was wherever the crown prince was and that for the moment was Aphidia.
"At least give me a chance to say goodbye to him," he pleaded with his cold-hearted butler.
"I disagree with you," Aricus let out to him.
"The crown prince had just had an attack; he won't be able to handle it if he wakes up to the news of you leaving him. I believe that it would be better if he woke up to the news that you left instead," he added.
