"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The pain that I had previously felt was nothing compared to this, as it felt like thousands of fire ants were tearing apart each skin cell on my body.
Every time I rolled over, it felt as if my heart was getting cut a million times.
The tiny drops of sweat covering my forehead were so painful that my joints locked up, and I began to foam from the mouth.
Blood flowed from my eyes, and for some reason, it was the most painful part.
It felt as if my eyes were getting jammed straight into my skull, and they were trying to become one with my brain itself.
…
Ten minutes passed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH! HELP! SOMEBODY HELP!"
…
Thirty minutes passed.
"ARGHHHHHHH! PLEASE! SOMEBODY SAVE ME!"
Amount of times I've fainted: 1
…
One hour passed.
"..."
Amount of times I've fainted: 3
…
Two hours passed.
"Urk… Hick… Hick… Somebody save me," I muttered as the pain had only gotten worse since the beginning.
The total amount of times I've fainted: 5
…
Five hours had passed.
"... HUFF… HUFF… HUFF… Hick… Ehh… Hick,"
I broke down into tears as I quickly shuffled back from the pile of corpses until my back hit a hard surface.
I continued to mutter,
"Help me… Help me… Somebody help…"
All the way until I fainted again.
…
Upon waking up, the stench of something horrendous filled my nose, causing me to puke up… nothing.
I gagged endlessly as my body tried to get rid of something, anything, but nothing came up.
Tears welled up in my eyes once again, but even though they flowed from my face, I made no noise as I lay against the hard surface behind me.
I breathed heavy breaths, with each one feeling like hot needles poking into my lungs.
Each time my breath exited my mouth, I could feel a wheeze slowly trail out of my throat.
And another pulse of pain rushed through my body, causing me to faint.
…
More time had passed.
I glanced down at my body which I was able to freely move now.
The pain was pretty much gone but, I still felt the chills as if the fever from before continued to eat away at my body.
Actually, it didn't really feel like a fever.
My head was as clear as day, but my skin was littered with goosebumps, and it felt as if ice had coated my spine.
My body also shook uncontrollably, even though I didn't feel nervous.
Grrrrrr
Suddenly, the ice coating my spine disappeared, and the shaking in my body stopped as I glanced beside me.

A few lizards the size of dogs appeared in front of me, and their frills that flayed to the sides of their heads created a horrific appearance.
"AHHHHHHH!" I screamed in horror as I stumbled to my feet but suddenly tripped on my red robes.
Grrrrr
As soon as I looked back up, another lizard was in front of me and it was drooling while looking at me.
Its eyes were that of a starved beast that hadn't eaten for weeks.
I swallowed a large drop of saliva as it slowly approached me, its drool landing on my face.
The smell was horrible, and I felt like throwing up again.
I had already accepted death… but the lizard, for some reason, passed me and laid its eyes on the massive pile of corpses behind me.
"Uh… Uh… Uh,"
Whimpers of fear and relief came stuttering out of my mouth as three more lizards appeared from behind the pile of corpses.
They bit down hard into the tattered robes before tearing away chunks of flesh.
Blood sprayed against their bloodthirsty expressions.
The scene was so nauseating that I threw up once again, and thankfully, the lizards didn't notice me even as I slowly shuffled away from the corpse pile.
After just a few seconds of confirming that they were all the lizards in the vicinity, I made a run for it which I quickly ended up regretting as the lizards snapped their heads around.
I could feel their bloodthirsty gazes digging into my skin as I ran barefoot across the stone floor.
My eyes were slowly adjusting to the darkness, and I could barely make out the hallway around me.
It was lined with stone bricks, from the floor, to the walls, and to the ceiling.
There were also countless amounts of vines crawling in between each brick and almost stabbing their way through sections of it.
It looked like a parasite trying to suck some essence out of its host.
Grrrrr
But, identifying the place around me was an afterthought as I ran as fast as my feet could take me.
The growling of the lizards behind me only got closer no matter how hard I ran.
Tears continued to flow from my eyes as the floor scratched up my feet.
Though, for some reason, I desperately felt like living.
I didn't know if it was the adrenaline rushing through me or what… but my legs continued to run as the impending doom quickly approached me.
Soon, the lizards were so close that I could hear their razor-sharp claws tearing against the stone bricks with each dash forward.

[First Step: Grab Some Vines]
.
With the panels above me quickly appearing, information flowed into my mind.
The vines lining the hall were outlined in a white light that glowed brightly, which I assumed was to get my attention.
I glanced back.
They were close.
I glanced to the side and noticed the vines that were outlined in dim white light and slowly approached them as I started to steer my running to the side.
Soon, I was close enough to grab some vines, so I reached for them and used the momentum of my sprint to tear them off the wall… But the vines had no give.
I got shot back behind the lizard and the vines didn't even have a slight tear in them…
Grrrrr
