I stared directly into his eyes,I was a little bit scared but I wouldn't let him know that,if I showed him that I was afraid then that will make his work easier knowing that fear comes when you know that you can't really protect yourself from something like this.
"Why bother going behind him?" he still had his gaze on me but he was talking to Chloe now."He can't even protect himself" he said with a grin.
I clenched my fist but I didn't say anything,he wasn't planning on attacking me directly,he wanted to take me out emotionally but I wouldn't allow that.
"That's because he's not a worthless demon like you"' Chloe came out from back so she could see who she was talking to."Who prefers to eat humans because you have unmerited powers" I really wish she hadn't said that,now that Develee wasn't even here he could really hurt us and I didn't want that.
